I can read the D and P flash but when i try to write this is the error i get

vvdi prog cannot unlock cpu

but when i read ID is still FFFF

Hexprog not safe at all in my experience.. I use vvdi prog, if cpu is stubborn. I heat mcu with hot air then mcu responds correctly. Goodluck


Also chip cryp is 7D look at log you posted .... you have to manually set it back to 7D on your log it's 7E

You have backup , write backup then manually lock again with cryp 7D

Backup first hopefully you saved...

Then unlock to be able to write....

Load your backed up or modified file then write to mcu

After afterwards lock mcu with cryp 7D

Then verify again by performing backup and save to another file so you can confirm its same as original or same as your modified file....

well i did all this but maybe not in the right order, tomorrow maybe will be better

yes always backup before do anything,

i have backup, problem is that i cannot write the files read from ori BCM to the new BCM

when i try with VVDi to write flash or eep after this -> [2023-11-27 19:46:10] : Chip is not crypt FE the result is cip is crypt operation not possible

This is the reason i do this [2023-11-27 19:51:25] : Change to <Read ID> and if the ID is read has C482 than chip not secured, but if still FFFF unable to write

the BCM is brand new from dealer

that meaning your programmer no good comonicate to the mcu

well BCM is brand new from dealer

VVDI is the programmer and with it i was able to read the NEW BCM MCU and the ORI BCM MCU

but when it come to writing / unlocking part please check post 4 and 1
