Well, it's the good file size & region data since I have another ORI file from another S3 same year/engine but different SN.
If anyone is willing to share their file too so I can compare, it will be very much appreciated :)

Update :
I decided to buy the Tactrix OpenPort 2.0 and use VW_Flash (on Github)
It's faster to write (approx 20sec) instead of full write with KessV2 clone (15 min) and you can also log the car via live data.
You still need ORI file to use it. (VW Flashdaten for official software update on VAG cars)
VW_Flash can do Simos 12, 12.1, 18.1 etc aswell as TCU (DQ250 DSG6 for me) :)

I'm using Windows 10, there's a tutorial on the Github page for Windows installation !
You need the Tactrix interface to use the software.

Tactrix original is not all that great, there are better passthru vcis out there.
It will work on almost any j2534 passthru vci that supports the STMIN_TX IOCTL.
Download the release version with the gui https://github.com/bri3d/VW_Flash/releases/download/v0.6.0/VW_Flash_GUI_v0.6.0.zip

Anyways, I have Ali version of Tactrix and no issues at all, I don't know if genuine is good or not
You just gotta download the zip file and put everything in a folder and just run the software, then you follow the tutorial here (https://github.com/bri3d/VW_Flash/blob/master/docs/windows.md)

So basically, you can't read that ECU anyways, you gotta make a "Virtual Read" file yourself using the software.
Then, you unlock the ECU, that what's taking long time
Finally, when you done that (including writing back original file), when you use the software, you should only use Calibration Flash Unlocked since it's only writing the modified part of file in the ECU!
For example, you have a .TXT file in your PC, you wanna change a sentence in the .TXT file, instead of rewriting the whole file with your edit, you just edit the sentence :)

Checksum should be automatic when writing using Calibration Flash Unlocked, otherwise, you can just fully write your original file and bring back the ECU to locked mode like nothing happened.
Simos ECU's can't be bricked, they're smart enough to get it back in working state!
