First write a good flash to the module. After that you should be able to restore the coding from the backup.
Does it have communication over OBD ?
If so you can contact Autel support and they can fix the flash on the server side from the one that was read and uploaded on the beginning of the procedure, so that it writes the correct one once you connect it to the car the next time.
After that the procedure might even restore the coding from the backup automatically.

How can I write flash though eeprom or obd?
Yes I got it to communicate over the obd but when I tried to restore coding its failed,
Are you sure they can help? I call them yesterday and seems like they don’t know what they doing

In this case i would pay somebody with equipment and just get done.
sure you'll be outta pocket but tomorrow headache gone.

Then in your leisure can install / invest/ drop / do whatever necessary next time

-----------

Personally if my car and u did this - i'd take u to the f**king cleaners mate
Hire car for starters

Anyway hopefully u have lovely understanding customer and fix :) Good luck

Autel is very good on BMW its my 1st tool on them - I also have Autohex but I use it only on CAS3+ with 4 digit ECU ISN

This fault is operator error - Its happen when you forgot to disconnect the eeprom clip when downgrade the FEM

I do all bmw with autel and its better than vvdi2 and easier to use than autohex.
The eeprom clip was disconnected for sure

i have mini acdp craziest funny tools that all locksmith makes fun on it but for me never failed on bmw and i work with it prior to vvdi2 and x300 dp and it can fix your issue with obd or doip cable but all this stuff must do it on table with fem test platform or with obd as i know there no prgrammer can read fem flash on bench ... you have two solution ;

1-find a good tools to backup fem with your coding ..
2- find second hand fem with same version and program keys with your eeprom data..

You can't write a flash file through "eeprom". Eeprom memory is in a dedicated IC 95128/95256 for BMW and the flash is in the MCU.
I am assuming the procedure failed during the firmware downgrade of the module. But I am just assuming, you didn't specify.

Did you attempt the prosedure via OBD on the car or did you do it on bench with opening up the module and removing and modifing the EEPROM directly ?

Either way you can attempt to write a flash file either over OBD on the car (make sure you have a battery booster connected) or via a wiring platform on the bench (make sure you have a good power source connected).
If the procedure failed as I am assuming during the downgrading process you should have a backup of the original file read during the start of the procedure on the device. You can either attempt to write it directly using the "restore" function, or attempt to repeat the writing of the modified flash file again (which I am not advising).

If both fail then you have most likely read the flash incorrectly at the start of the procedure. If that is the case you can proceed either like issam216 (https://www.digital-kaos.co.uk/forums/member.php/503999-issam216) suggesten in reply #11 and get a matching second hand module with a flash file still intact and program it with your eeprom and coding and new keys or you can contact Autel like I said and see if they can piece together a working flash from the bad read you have.
There have been posts where Autel support sorted similar cases reported here by forum users. I am not sure who you called. If it was your local Autel dealer then they mey be unequipped to help you but the Autel central support team is surely competent enought to at least point you in the right direction if you contact them through the support ticketing system over the app on the device or directly over e-mail. I am not sure which is faster.

Hi
You mean you program new keys and it didn't work when you installed a new bdc?

For those regular posters in the forum, sorry to bump an old thread.. but it drives me nuts when people ask for help when in a sticky situation, people offer up their help and advice, and then the OP goes silent, presumably because it is all sorted and panic is over. No use of the thanks button either. Last online, 2 days ago, so clearly an active user who will have seen someone ask them a question.

I ran into the same issue as this thread a few weeks ago, I hadnt seen this thread at that time. What I can say is, had the OP come back and provided an update or solution, it may have been helpful.

I suppose next time, people won't want to help.

two people after you asked questions, if you answered them, it would give a more complete answer?

The same people who were trying to help you when you were stuck, you chose to ignore them because your panic was over. From how i was brought up, thats rude and disrespectful
