Hi All,
I am due to go out to a Fiat panda 2007 in next couple of days. It is AKL.
As always I have done some readin up before hand so I am going to jobs that I can do and also not to damage anyones car..
I read some old posts on the internet saying that the BSI had to be pulled to bench in order to do AKL.. Is this true?
I hav the IM508s and was planning to get into the car, read the immo data, that should give me the pin, and then I could just learn the key via OBD.. am i wrong with that and will it need to be a bench job? if so any pointers? I have done Fiat 500 etc in past but not the panda.. its the few posts i saw which have scared me a little
thanks in advance!

Certainly Abrites and Smart Pro can do this by OBD
Panda 169 will require Hitag2 (PCF7936/PCF7941) preparation and not just a PIN

The 508 will read immo data and generate dealer key but you need internet connection… for only a key you can use xt27 for fully remote key you’ll need a proper key as xhorse or keydiy didn’t have pre settings for this car

Even with good key I'm not sure that Autel will precode good remote
For transponder key no problem

Interesting, didnt know that. Thanks!
I have a delphi 433 mhz 3 button flip (fiat 500 style) in but it has the 746 chip in it. I'll probably just give a blade key only today so the car can be used and then get the right remote key ordered so i can go back and give them the key. Theyre only 10 mins away from me.

Can i just clarify what this means?
I have got a chip only key programmed and successfully starting the car.. I have just ordered off KL a Panda 169 key.. from what you have written, i wont be able to get the remote/buttons working using the IM508s?
Thanks

what hes saying is that only tmpro and miraclone can precode the remote on this siemens system , which is not correct as abrites and smart pro can also precode this remote key , zedfull also can but to an emulator remote made by them .
it wasnt possible with im608 some time ago when i tried , but i havnt tried in a long while as abrites doesnt fail me ,autel coverage list claims it can code these siemens remotes but the coverage list isnt always accurate and sometimes exagerates.
i guess once you try we will know if autel too is succesful on these now.

Ah thanks for explaining. Well I will try tomorrow or friday and report back.
Once I had clicked into Immo and chosen then Siemens system, on the menu where it gives you the choice to select Key learning, there was also a remote learning menu but I didnt have a remote on me at the time to try.. I will keep everyone updated!

if its in the menu , despite the menu often being exagerated , smart pro and abrites have had this for some time now so its likely they have copied it , if not then like others they didnt want to spend time on whats an old system .
let us know how you get on

Sorry everyone for the disappointment but after 1 day of using a non remote key, the customer decided that they can live with that and to save some money, want me to go back tomorrow to make another non remote key instead of the remote key.
£8 down the drain as need to return key to KL and had to pay postage to get it aswell, but thats life!
I guess the wait goes on, hopefully someone else can give it a shot at some point and report back.

keep the key in stock rather than send it back , always good to hold stock , if in stock the customer doesnt have to wait next time , waiting they often change mind , always good to hold stock
