Hello. I need to force a Regen on an Isuzu industrial engine in a generator. I have a Cummins Inline 6 adapter and a Perkins CA3 adapter. I have Cummins Insite 8.7.

Any ideas how I can achieve forcing a manual Regen and pull codes off a newer Isuzu industrial engine? Will the Cummins software work. Do I need to find E-IDSS? Will E-IDSS work with any of my current communication adapters?

Thanks in advance

Would a NEXIQ USB 2 be something I could use to communicate with off highway Isuzu engines?

some Isuzu engines posible wit idss, but you need to check wich model you need and idss supported , so many industrial models need tech2 software and others need the doctor pc old like Hitachi machinery

Ok. I finally got a copy of E-IDSS 9.2024 and am trying to connect to a 2023 engine in a Generac generator. I am able to get as far as putting in the engine info and am able to connect to the Cummins Inline 6 adapter. The adapter is recognized in E-IDSS but when trying to perform diagnostics I get an error stating "invalid power train adapter. Please review the connections"

I am assuming the adapter will not communicate with the engine? Its a 2023 Isuzu 4LE2.

The LEDs that are illuminated on the Inline 6 are USB, Solid red and CAN2 Red blinking rapidly.

Any help is apricated.
