Hi all.
I just got a second hand iPhone 16g 3g, it's unlock to all network but...
1) I cant turn the phone off, if I do it will go into sync mode.
2) How do I delete the Factery ringtones & input my own.

what version is the software
go into the settings menu and then about m8 an let me know what it says i think i know what ur prob is but need to know this answer first

settings ---- general----about then it will say version tell me the number there m8

yeah basically it is prob using whats called a tethered jailbreak so if u connect it to the pc it will reboot fine but cant be turned off normally if that makes sense
as for ringtones in itunes u need to click manually manage ringtones drag and drop the files u want as ringones (m4r files) THEN SYNC TO PHONE M8

I dont think you can delete the factory ringtones but if you search google making your own ringtones in itunes is easy enough.

go to bittorrent sites like the pirate bay and download ringtone packages. once you have them just drag them into itunes then sync your iphone with itunes. they will appear in setting munu/sounds
