Keys Management Panel! view,download,insert keys!

Hi all ,

Here's my little contribution to the forum....
I have just started doing some scripts for fun and i decided to make something useful.
Since so many of you(SG) are requesting for keys and how to insert them, here's simple panel plugin for you!

Description:
View Keys, download keys from internet, manually input keys from panel plugin. Include new PANIC Button too!

Note:
THERE ARE NO KEYS INCLUDED, PROVIDE YOUR OWN.
Panel works for boxes which use SoftCam.Key or KeyList.txt. mgcamd. tested on E1, dm500c.

Credit:
I have included someone's DreamboxEdit key updater plugin in my Panel (no.3). The original plugin will not work for SoftCam.Key, hence my script will convert the KeyList.txt to SoftCam.Key. simple.

And for those learning how to create simple panel scripts and plugins for dreambox, you can modify my script and
learn to write scripts to download stuff from internet, view files, call plugins and execute scripts, etc!

"Keys Management Panel" includes:
1. View current 00 and 01 Keys on screen! how useful
2. Download Keys Online (provide your own online file host)
3. Input Keys Manually
4. Clear all keys (Reset all keys to FFFFFFFFFF)
5. Quick Restart (instead of slow reboot)
6. Panic Button (with confirmation, wipe out all keys, services, channels and roms! instantly.)
7. Update Panel online* (provide your own online file host)
*You are able to update everyone's panel, execute new cmds if they have the same plugin connected to your file host.

Installation:
1. Extract files
2. FTP to dreambox
3. copy all files INSIDE "ppanels" to dreambox's folder "/var/etc/ppanels"
4. Make a copy of your "SoftCam.Key" file found under "/var/keys" and name it "Keylist.txt" under same folder.(take note)
5. You can find the panel under your plugin menu now.
6. You might want to set the panel to your BLUE BUTTON on remote. DONE!

Editing main script to host keys and updates:
(Ignore if you only need manual key input)
1. Open keysupdater.xml
2. Find and replaceAll "http://YOUR_URL" to your own web host path and folder.
3. Make a copy of your updated "Keylist.txt" (case sensitive) and host it under your webhost url as "temp.txt". (take note)
User will download this file from your host when they select download keys online.
4. Directly host a copy of your updated "keysupdater.xml" under your webhost url as "keysupdater.txt". (take note)
5. Modify script to your own preferences. Users will download this file when they select Update Panel.

With this plugin, maybe some guru can get access to the latest keys and always update according to when it's required.. :D

are you using gemini image ? do you have any gemini 4.7 image for dm500c clone that will not brick dm500c?

No.. i am using nabilosat and pli jade images...easier to update than gemini images which may brick your set.

i found something which i think is a bug.

1. I clear the key for a testing by using the plugin, because i had input aautroll.key (mgcamd) inside, channel was back few min later.
but than because the autroll.key (mgcamd) will only update softcam.key, and plugin never auto convert softcam.key to Keylist.txt, now the keylist was stated with a non updated list which is FFFFFFFFFFF while the softcam.key contain with the latest key. (mean key was updated but not the list, this may create confuse if ppl ask why the key stated ffff)

i suppose this plugin is basic on KeyList.txt to view, edit the update list.


2. Notice there is a "Keys are up-to-date since" but the date will never change as i suppose it input in the script? can it tag by the updated date on keylist.txt ? :P


this plugin is more for ppl who use evocamd, maybe u can make a 2 in 1 plugin for mgcamd or evocamd. if default softcam setup on dm is selected mgcamd or evocamd, the setting will set according to mgcamd or evocamd and do the convert, view or save.. ahha i know it hard but i dunno scripting so thus i only can suggest :P

(SoftCam.Key for mgcamd) , (KeyList.txt for evocamd)
*currently i m using evocamd as it will be more user friendly if i use this plug

i will fix them all up soon.

I will base the viewing of keys on SoftCam.key if that's preferred.
for now, try opening the keyupdater.xml file,
under the view current keys section, change to:



<media name="View Current Keys"
runBefore="cp /var/keys/SoftCam.Key /var/keys/Keylist.txt"
target="/var/keys/Keylist.txt"
helptext="Display current 00 and 01 keys."/>

i added the >runBefore> tags. This actually perform a copy of softcam.key to keylist.txt THEN it peforms the viewing function of keylist.txt under <target>. Hope it helps.

As for the date change, will have to change it to download both the xml and keys and update the panel when you download keys as well... cause the date occurs only in panel, not when key file is downloaded. cant read date with dreambox scripts. :(

i had done a change for this..
tested.. should work well for both (SoftCam.Key for mgcamd) , (KeyList.txt for evocamd)

removed the online update put in on the readme.txt as a addon script. lOl

*If you are using, "Evocamd Keys Management Panel", DO NOT Press "Mgcamd Keys Management Panel" "View current key" as this will CLEAR all ur key on keylist.txt

There are many user using diff kind of app autoroll, so we cant ensure what is change in their dm set
As long you can view can already.

Been using it seen day1 i modify it.. no error was found.

i not sure abt your set i dont think ur set can input any script file in

[SGDVB]

2 option for you... Either get card king or to search for new key whenever there is a key change.

For DM500/DM800, we are still able to change to any firmware, install or ftp any softcam we like but not this crappy DM900C-II.
