At this moment it isn't so easy.
The 2.022 is not a bad choice. Even nextgen allows updates via Honda America Network.

but i think .iso and .rar it the same

the .iso is the complete cd image, the RAR files are seperate parts of this file (maybe to send them easier instead of 1 big file ?)

a quick look at iso file contents shows that there is 2.018 version inside it.

i would recommend to stay with july release as newer version will hook up with honda server and updates it self soon or later it will lock you out.

there is Latest Honda HDS Dealer Software Version 2.024.004 November 2010

Honda & Acura HDS Software for GNA600, HIM,GDS2200, Pocket Tester and SPX MVCI. This is the October 2010 update that is the latest software available up to date for both the HDS and PCM updates reflash. This software will update the PC version with GNA600 & HIM and Pocket tester, the HDS Tablet GDS2200 and the new SPX MVCI, that have software already installed.
An FTP download link will be sent after payment is received within two hours or less.
This works on all 1992-2011 Honda Acura Models.
I do not provide Support, do not order if you do not know how to use it or Install it.

No. I'm not a advertising agent. Reason I posted was I just purchase the Honda HDS OCTOBER 2010 VER. 2.023.009 about 2weeks ago. And the guy put up the newer version. And I'm still trying to figure out how to work on Actia XS Pass thru. The previous 2.022 did worked but this is not this one . Hope you'll uderstand and every body is on same boat to get much information on the O.E. Software.

BTW, newer version with increment by 1 more often means fresher database of CM, ECU flash files (updates), HDS gets not so much improvements. You could stay with 2.022 and keep your money.

i have sept version full hds will lockup evey secon week ask for server acces even i hit HNT icon it wont unlock .had to reinstall it to work ,getting tired ,tried to go back to july it wont install becuse software sees newer version in the computer try tio figure it any suggestion to shut the hds off going online?

Did you try to delete all remaining folders H*, Genrad, \Program Files\Teradyne, registry keys HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Teradyne** after full uninstall of new version? Does July version still see new version?
What is exact error message?

To unlock the HDS software all you have to do is run the Network Config app that is installed with the HDS software. The icon is on the desktop.

t think it wont work for new version hitting the HNT icon do not solve the problem.is there any oter way to completely take out hds software and go back to july version.i dont want to do fresh os install as i will lose all data+some other applications.is regestery cleaner help to remove the unstalled software?

You could use virtual machine for another version of HDS until a solution will be found for removing data 2.023 left. I could look for exact reason but I have no 2.023.
Microsoft Virtual PC is free virtual machine software. I use it in order two versions of ECU Rewrite 6.21 (Europe), 6.22 (USA) can coexist on the same computer.
Registry cleaning software won't help. It deletes only depended registry keys.

Every 7 days the HDS software will give me the error that it needs to connect to the Honda network and locks me outof the program. I just run the network test app and it unlocks it.

I don't know if this has anything to do with it but I did go into the file manager and changed the seetings in there to store the files onto my hard drive instead of a network.

double click on HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE...
doulble click on PassThruSupport.04.04
click on SPX-Device1
you'll see the FunctionLibrary ..
double click on FunctionLibrary..
delete the value data:...
and type C:Program Files\I+ME Actia GmbH\xs Pass Thru 04-04\Pthrxs32.dll

I use version 2.022 but it had ecu for Europe so i took all the files from the ecu rewrite usa version and just dumped them in the newer version rewrite Europe and it works fine most of the files were already there it must not be a big difference between Europe and USA

I tryed many times. HDS 2.020 with pussthru work like a charm, but any other like HDS 2.021, HDS 2.022 d't want work for me. Whats wrong? Can any help with this?

i use HDS 2.020 with mongoose passthru read all code but some code air bag & abs can not clear ,it pop up interface not support any body have same isuse pleases help.

i have a question about pocket tester.
does anyone use this ?
I just order the used Ipaq H5150 and obd2 cable for pocket tester and install honda hds software on Ipaq. Still waiting on the cable.
I don't know wearther is going to work or not.
I'll post later.
And the question is. What kind fuctionality does have,able to do the immobilizer,ect...?
