It has only 36.1 Kb ..also, I have an older version it is 91.5 kb and it's application. It can run but possible has old algo and can not read, for example, attached dump.

what I can tell you...it works!! :) Finally, I have found what's wrong :( It was about IE8 :( After installing google Chroma and downloading again OSCR file...the same file (after rar decompressed) has .exe extension!! And working, of course :)
On my computer Xp SP3, at this moment, I have installed only microsoft net framework 4.0 ( no one else) and works everyting perfect!!!

CD30 radio volume stopped working so swapped the 95640 chip to another known working CD30 - its now working fine.

But, the car did not come with any manuals or security codes/pins etc... So just thought it would be worth trying to find it out now rather than later when it might be needed urgently!

To be honest, I'm not sure what the code is for or does or if it will be of any use to me but at least it will stay with the car document from now on.

Using ASProgrammer and selecting 95640 chip just reads blanks i.e FF's.
Using CH341A sw and selecting 25LC160 gives wrong size dumps, not sure what chip type to select from the drop menu.

The code is 5929....
The way you did it will work if both radio's are identical part numbers, tho the odds are high you are lucky...
This radio is made of 2 parts, the radio and the Display, they are paired together with a code that is stored in the display and in the radio.
If both codes match then the radio works. Normally we unregister the radio and pair them using the code from the display

I want to change my Grundig CD30 mp3 (it's the original radio of my car and I have the code) because it doesn't have AUX, so I'd like to buy a model with that connection.

I've read about the annoying "Display Safe" warning message so that's why I'm here. Most of the radios I find on the internet doesn't have the code. The thing is that I'm a noob at this and I'm trying to learn before I spend any money and I don't understand the process I have to do...

Can anyone tell me the steps I have to follow to unpair my radio and pair the new radio? It doesn't have to be a very detailed guide, I just want the most important steps. It would help me a lot.

Also, is this all made using the OBD2 connector? If that's the case, I guess I'll need the OP-COM dongle, a diagnostics software and also the OSCR software, right?

You need your car security code, and the new radio code ( if not reseted )

And this bin file need load to the OSCR software for the sec code.

With op-com, need reset / deactivate / your stock radio with the car code , then deactivate the new radio, and activate the new radio.

Maybe program audio index, and mid can bus...

Pin for this is 3312 but this won't help you... you need to use this dump (PIN removed) and pair using 4315

Yes, with the PIN code from the car.

Wouldn't it be easier to dump the pin, then use the dealer software( tech2, tech2win, gds) to pair the radio as compared to some of the methods mentioned here?
Ideally, dumping the pin through obd then nothing has to be dismantled and dumped

Remove, Refit & Reprogram

my dad just bought a 2006 Opel Combo and the original car radio died (Blaupunkt CD30). I was able to read the eeprom (OLD CD30 HS.ZIP) (pincode 4242, alpha code SD)

I bought a new used car radio CD30. and I also read the eeprom 95640 (NEWCD30.ZIP) (pincode 0794, alphacode MC) The new radio works, but i have "display safe" on the screen.

I did not read the eeprom of the screen because having the original car radio, I told myself that it was not necessary

i don't have OPCOM, is it necessary ?

could you help me ?

I've tried to read my CDC40 opera with 24C32 from EBAY, but I can't decode it from OSCR, it shows me 11 numbers... :(
