What's the year of the car? if it's new with CAN based, it doesn't mean that your autocom has OKI chip, it can be without it and scan new fords without problem.

Yes and i don't know ID is needed and if it's an other ID or xml dll registry etc.

I don't upload this screen it's an other member but i use this software since 2004 and never see that in the new gui will come in 2009 .

CDP can read errase fault code programe ecu and display value read by ecu .

CDP+ have fonction of CDP with flight recorder fonction to see go to Home - Autocom (http://www.autocom.se) ;) flight recorder don't work with secure system like ABS ESP SRS etc. it's not legal .

Wrong it's data with OBD Manufactured like TEXA no only EOBD it's professionnal tools not ELM !!!!!!!

Manufactured specific code can be read like DF for Renault .

Baner have you this tools ? I have ADP186 since 2004 i don't have flight recorder but i can read errase programe reset , and because it's an ADP record and read in parallele mode .

If you would like a good tools buy original and don't say that it's a bad tools because you have poor chinese clone ! 3000$ and life warranty ;)

You can read lambda value but i don't understand because you need wightband for have a good value of lambda .

You can't modify engine ECU like MPPS ....

Developpement screen is beautiful but you can't use it because nobody know how activate it and if it's possible to install nobody have the HW Key . But if it's possible it's fine but very dangerous for ECU :D

I received a cdp + and the flight recorder does not work or is not operating.
Select parameters from the list and then hit the flight recorder.
Depues screen says that the parameters are correct and on the next screen sample will be saved in the vci. then gives an error

This is typical hardware error. Try ti resolder autocom especially 29f. What programmer are used to program flash? Try with new flash chip!

I think you should use realterm (see devildante007 post (http://www.lesamisdudiag.com/autocom/58159-dump-29f800-autocom.html)) , tools or sn to change your VCI serial before update it.

Autocom 2013.3 iso , u will need to mount this image with something like magicdisc its free
Freeware MagicISO Virtual CD/DVD-ROM(MagicDisc) Overview (http://www.magiciso.com/tutorials/miso-magicdisc-overview.htm)
now mount your image and install 2013.3
you will be asked for your vci serial
a-710-476 cdp (5 serial unit ) a-710-142 cdp+ (6 serial unit )
open h/w serial keygen and add your serial and click to show hardware serial number you
will need this at the end of the install.
after you have installed it will close
now go to C:\Program Files \Autocom\Cars CDP+
open that folder , now open the patch folder you download and drag the file into that folder
into C:\Program Files \Autocom\Cars CDP and overwrite them all
now open autocom and click right arrow , on the next screen click the top button
you will see a box yes for save and no for open . you want to save at this point
now all you have to do is upload that activation file to here and its will be activated
then put back in that place and click the top button again and open ,
browse to file and open and thats it

there all the same way to install ,. very easy m8 .. u have to make sure u have uninstalled autocom everywhere , after uninstall search for autocom folders in the start search option on your pc and delete the 2 extra folders you will find, and start again

I have had more autocom 2011.3 version and I tried to update the firmware of more pcs. (you need to update the firmware too for the newer software).
Unfortunately, about 5 pcs went wrong, when I tried to update the software, and the update was succesfull on 5 pcs.
I would like to say only, you know what kind of your tool, but the update has any RISK.

Just a quick update on this, my lappy /portege 400/ is playing up something terrible. Some progs missing, not able to update, freezing, crashing etc. So my priority is to fix this first, then try again. Thank you all for the kind offers of help. As ARNIE says "i,ll be back".

OK guys i,m back on the case. My lappy is back running ok. So, i looked at what i have on a pen drive autocom 2011.3 and compared to what i should have. It seems i,m missing the keygen, or most of it. Anyway it dont work. I got a copy of the k/gen from a 2013 version. Can anyone confirm it will be the same and will work? Next question is, as i cannot understand the readme file, what do i do with it? I can get my hands on the full discs for 2013 version, but will it work ok with my interface <gold cdp> Trawled the interweb for info, but cannot get any info so any help please.

ok guys, this is the story so far. I got hold of a disc with 2012,3 on. It also has 3 "how to install video,s" very good quality. So it all made sense after, as to where i was going wrong. Now, i installed the 2012 version, with patch etc, all activated good. But it seems my old cdp interface is no good. I think it needs the cdp+ interface to work. So i just need to buy a new interface and away i go. OR DO I ?

I am waiting for my new autocom + sofware + keygen to arrive, 2013.2. I cannot get this to work using any h/w numbers or file fixes. trying to get this to work with bits of this and bits of that is dificult for us mere mortals. When i went to school we didnt even have calculaters, but every day is a school day when using computers. Thank you all who tried to help.
