and whats the problem if code is in eeprom ??? to work it out ?
even if it would be 32 -64 digits in eeprom is easy ,start from locating counter ,make 1 wrong and reread than check line by line :hahaha:

@ goliat100

No need to remind Fradebo to share information with DK, he's a valued member and has shared right from the beginning :)

This method of entering wrong code to change value of error counter, to establish code area.... is good idea though...:top:

@Fradebo

Never seen mitsubishi being done by serial number, hope someone can help with location of eeprom, or where code stored.

Oh we'll all still remember ...

For decoding of the car navigation system to turn to a dealer that the serial number auto navigation system compile file for decoding, after etogo compiled files stored on a flash drive and flash drive inserted into slod read flash and on car navigation system, after rewriting the file is a flash in the navigation Auto system itself is showing its code his nabiraesh and navigation system auto decoded .. (uvaga files from other car navigation systems such Claes but is a different lot numbers not working. .)

As it is an 8 digit code I would imagine the sequence would be in one place, In these dumps the best candidates are

84 0A 6B 07

62 9D FB 06

But I would suggest they are read

076B0A84

06FB9D62

It depends upon how these are processed as to what the code is.

Left dump is attached.I do not have the last two numbers. Possible cod 0 7 3 1 7 0 xx
required to hit last two digits or results were compared :)

Your code 1xx8xxxx

Pavel.... you've got two options.

Either edit and remove your XXXX sh1t or provide the full code.

For your information, in Digital Kaos .... we provide the full code.

Just advice.... I'd do it soon.....................

Fradebo

THE PROBLEM IS SOLVED WITH GREAT THANKS TO PAVEL-DN

THE CODE IS COMPOSED BY THE 4 LAST NRS OF THE SERIAL
AND OF THE 4 LAST NRS OF THE VIN NUMBER

IN THIS CASE IT WAS 16884408

THIS SHOULD HELP US ALL TO FIND LOCATION AND ENCRYPTION METHOD

LET ME ALSO SAY THAT REMOVING THE EEPROM IS NOT THAT EASY, BECAUSE THE DISPLAY-UNIT IS SEALED FROM THE INSIDE WITH GLUESTRIPS ,,,,,, YOU HAVE TO BE VERY CAREFUL AND IT TAKES TIME.

AGAIN MANY THANKS TO ALL THAT HELPED, ESPECIALLY TO PAVEL

Do clock and data come out of the display? It may be possible to solder onto these main board connections.

Fradebo
23rd May, 2011, 04:13 PM
I have two flexfoils , one for the motordrive and a larger one of about 30 conductors for the display. so data and clocksignal should be in that one. It took me only 6 screws to go that far, but dont ask me to open it completely again ...... :hahaha:
