been down since last night , well some channels are working and some are not.
ive read they are messing with the servers updating etc so wait a day or two for it to sort itself out.

Have you flashed box with 1.04 firmware & scanned in channels
If so turn off router & box, Reboot router then reboot box
On screen should show connected or not connected
If you used 1.03 firmware you will have to enable settings

First hit MENU--UTILITY--SYST INFO--check it says vers 1.04
If it doesn't you haven't flashed box correctly. Re-flash box.
Is adaptor connected to rs232 port at back of box & is LAN-cable
connected from adaptor to router.
If Provider TV cable is connected to box bbc1,bbc2,itv1, etc. can
be viewed. Internet connection enables other channels to be
viewed. When you have everything set up OK unplug router and
box. plug in router then plug in box. Bottom of screen should
show connected or not connected

You don't answer all questions. I asked last time was adaptor
connected to rs232 port at back of box & LAN-cable connected
from adaptor to router
CAN'T FIND SERVER means box is not connecting to router
Did you reboot router & box, if not do so, do it again anyway.
Can you plug LAN-cable from router to laptop to make sure it's
not faulty

Hi,yes the adapter and cable was plugged in exactly into its proper place,I decided to start afresh as could see no reason for problem.
As I looked again where to download the software for it noticed down page on dk that it was posted that entry for CARLING V1.04 december 2010 did not work mmmm!.
So I went to next post which was CARLING V1.03 software,so tried that.
followed all instructions and it fired up straightaway.
I did check in utilities/system and again on my usb stick both showed 2mb/CARLING V1.04 ??? (NOW DELETED) and replaced with v1.03.:bird:
THANKS FOR ALL YOUR HELP
