If you open the ecu and read 28F200 with a Willem for example, you can writte for sure.

Yes, you´r right. Then you need to get the ISN with INPA and use an emulator.

Hi! My problem is this:
I had an remmaped ECU to mine E36 320i M52 5WK9 0322 index 10 but the ecu fried.
I bought new ECU, again 5WK9 0322 index 10, but it wont start.

I upload the original 256k from new DME (that it wont start), and with the remmaped 256k (from the fried DME).
Try to write remmaped softwere to the new DME but the car still doesnt start.
Can somebody remove EWS (immo) from the remmaped DME?

I`ve mean.. It litteraly catches on fire :D. So the old ECU cannot be used. I have the DME file from the time that ive been write it on the old ECU.
I get a new wiring harness, connect everything that has to be in place, but the car wont start. My opinion its an EWS problem.

If pin 60 is free there is no writing on ECU.Noe i will put ews3 emulator jast writing ori flash and read isn to store in emu.

You should have no problem doing a partial reading. I did it with partial and total reading and no problems with immo off.

i have here a few files from a MS41 and all are full reads but when i see 0x14000 it shows what it must show so its ok i guess, i never use kess or similar tools so that whas a bit confusing.. but hey.. never to old to learn :peaceful:

OFC EWS is removed physically.
Can someone give me a 100% sure solution. I'm speculating about EWS still active or problem around CKP sensor, checked wiring and it is ok.......

Ews need disconnect 100% from car.
About fault code "EWS manipulation" wrong done that's it.
Load kiszka sulution and forget this trable ,it's never up agane..........707429.


About ......No Rmp.....!
And about trable like no rmp,if in flash done same tuning probably this to do this fault (samething is wrong set in flash or trable in another car place not in ecu......:dontknow:).
If ......no rmp.... fault stay , I think need try finde good one flash for check.

Tried the file and seems ok but still no RPM and "Start signal" during cranking.
Now there is only 1 DTC about EWS signal but I think because of disconnected EWS.
EWS manipulation DTC gone. Checked the car with INPA too and is says anti theft is still active, I don't know if that is normal?

Ok so, I have a test EWSII with working transponder and I did a quick ISN write from ECU to this test EWS and now anti theft system is ok, you can see on this picture. But still no RPM :( I have to identify the problem and after we can return to immo off procedure.

You need read 28f400 and post the file here.
You can make a partial reading by any tool or better option is desolder the flash and read it with an external programmer like willem for example.

Vanos will work, but won't rev above 5k rpms. You just need to connect ECU pin 15 to rear right wheel speed signal from ABS and everything will work.

Hey! My DME in e36 MS41 got wet after rain, so i changed it, i managed to get one from a e39. It is the same MS41 i have got EWS2 and chips for the keys, it is working fine now for the moment, but i can not turn on the blower motor, and the climate control. I have digital controller, is it because of the DME is not configured for A/C or anything i can do with it? It is important at least the blower motor, because its winter and i can't get hot air in to the car. Thank you for your reply.
