skoda octavia 2002

hello, i am completely new to this and dont want to mess it up, friend needs his dash correcting on a
2002 skoda octavia
93c86
vdo

i have been kindly given Licznik software to do this but i am struggling...............


can some one tell me if the dump is correct in its read out or do i need to bit swap?

as it is i can read the dash part number in the dump correctly but the software says the eeprom is storing "475888km" which is completely wrong!


can any one tell me where i am going wrong????

if original km is ~ 194384km seems a good dump.

please confim that.

in licznik you have a tool xy to swap byte,
then you see good KM

u dont have tacho universal with that u can do this over obd2
ur dump is good and it has 194379 km inside .How many u want i can calculate for u.

thanks for all the replies, the reason for the causion is that i could on get 194379 when byte swap but with all the other infomation would then look bad.

i need 191,000km

I have Full CarProg, but i do not know how to use it on Dash/tacho, so i thought it was safer for me to take a good read with eeprom reader.

any one know if i can make this with carprog???

manually entered in hex editor as my copy licznik is not working for me.
