I was having issues left and right getting WADs to install with a previous version of WADmanager (1.4) until ... dun dun dun ...

Well I can't get WAD Manager 1.7 to work you select 249 and press A then it shows about Nand emulator which you can change and it just locks up.

Thats where this modding is totally eff up, there are cIOS files and IOS files now I understand the C is for Custom. I have IOS36-64-3608.wad and cIOS36-v3094.wad the first one installs but the second one doesn't.

Does WAD Manager 17 download these files of the web, I have a web connection?

All the cIOSX_rev21-Installer installers I've used all lockup and do nothing.

did you install and patch ios 36 with mmm?
but it would be easier to install all the wads from the 4.3 tut.

Well if your saying its a patched from 4.3 mod (http://www.digital-kaos.co.uk/forums/f16/4-3-mod-157379/) in MMM-61.zip there doesn't have an IOS36 in there only IOS58-64-v6175.wad and IOS61-64-v5661.wad.

4.3 hack files.zip has 5 cIOS files with cIOS36-v3094.wad and I've tried to install them all with MMM but they wouldn't.

The IOS36-64-v3608.wad did install but that wasn't from your tut.

I installed the one that we had here and the HBC couldnt see it... i now use YAWM.... i thought it may be because there is no png or metadata file, just noticed in N8PARKS post that his download has the png and meta.

is it just my system or should the DK download have these files too?

Wad Manager v1.7.zip from that link has an icon.png in it so it should show?

Wad Manager v1.7.zip from that link has an icon.png in it so it should show?

Sorry your right it doesn't only a WAD-Manager_v1.7.dol but I have downloaded the full version from somewhere?

Well I've tried Wad Manager 1.5 and 1.7 on my 4.3E but it just locks up and does nothing so I use Multi-Mod Manager (MMM) 13.4 which works perfectly its in this package so you may as well install the D2x v7 and USB Loader GX 2.3 at the same time if you use it.

I have modded my wii myself [took 8hrs lol] but now that I want to put ps1 games on it I need a wad manager. I tried wad 1.4 and it said it couldn't find the files. I switched to iso 36, 50, and obviously 249 didn't work either. My Wii is 4.1 U, I made the mistake of upgrading to 4.2 but had to downgrade, is this why i'm having issues? I'm going to try wad 1.7 next but i'm getting really frustrated! Is there somewhere I can download the wad and all the files I need are already in place?

Thanks guys. I appreciate the help, will be geting on that asap. I almost lost hope lol. I really hope the wii64 people can get together and fix this soon. My wii64 is outdated and I think I may go ahead and upgrade to the new version.

I've had the same probs with WM 1.5, 1.7 and MMM but YAWMM works for me everytime !

Yea I've heard a lot about MMM & YAWMM. Would they work for a wii 4.1u? I managed to get the wiisx channel on my wii but when it loads the dos file it freezes. the same thing happens when I load a game from homebrew.

YAWMM works on my 4.1E - should be fine on yours. Try it and load the newest WAD pack.
