I only use 2 loaders ... WiiFlow & USBLoader GX. I went through on both and changed box covers directly in the individual loaders file. The Silent Hill box cover was freaking out my daughter. GX shows my custom cover, but FLOW still shows the old one when running. Even though I've done an extensive search for the file name and replaced any/all I could find.
Any help as to what else I can do?
Next I was thinking of deleting the game and the box cover, re-install the game then instead of WiiTDB(ing) the box cover just put mine in it's place again. Somehow I think this will probably just be a waste of time.

there must still be one in a folder somewhere check all your folders again. try putting in your pc and do a search for the id number of the cover.

Yeah, I did the search already on the PC in general and the hd with the loaders on it as well as the SD card. I can't seem to figure this one out. Are there layers in .png files and maybe it's referencing the 1st layer? I only edited it in mspaint, not adobe or anything, so I don't see how even that would be an option.

You can download your own covers for Silent Hill - SHLPA4 (http://www.wiiboxart.com/wiigame.php?game=SHLPA4) and put them in the correct folders. When you download them in USB Loader GX it will tell you which ones it couldn't find and asks if you want to save this list on the SD card.

Thanks, not the problem though. I'm having a problem with wiiflow using my custom cover instead of the downloaded one. I can't even find that original one on my PC, ext hd or sd card and yet wiiflow seems to know where a copy of it is.
I should just give up on wiiflow anyway. I only like it for its looks. Some of my games only work with GX even though I've patched both loaders with their loader appropriate patches.

i didn't mean search by looking at the pictures in a paint program, each game .png as a unique number find out what that is from here http://www.gametdb.com/Wii/Search should be something like r5wea4 then search your sd card/hdd by connecting it to the pc and starting the search for files and folders program from the start button menu.

I understand what you're saying. I have the file name (number), it's [R5WEA4].
This is my file on hdd. (I pasted and edited the soundtrack cover to work for my game cover. Still looking for the english back half.)

This is the original file from wiitdb. (Which I completely replaced)

It's the damned original one I can no longer find on my end, but wiiflow still does somewhere. Maybe a hidden file or something.
Doing further investigating now. This is probably going to end up being something dumb on my part.

PROBLEM SOLVED!!!
WiiFlow uses a cache folder as well with .wfc files in it. Originally googling what those files are typically for (and could effect the program and/or game), I decided not to mess with them. They can be for audio, video, images, tutorials, presentations, etc.
After racking my brain and googling some more I discovered that in this case, WiiFlow basically copies the boxcover folder file and makes another copy it. It then uses and stores it in the cache folder with the .wfc extension. I just deleted it and it made a new one from my custom cover.
Yay me.
I also found out that yes .png images can have layers, but in this case that wasn't the problem.
I do have photoshop as well as a couple other image editors, but found this (http://pixlr.com/) little helpful site during all of this.
