Hi guys,
The car is 1996 Mercedes Benc E290td with 0 281 001 283 ECU.

I have desoldered the original 27c020 eproms and soldered in appropriate sockets.
The eproms' content is in the attached archive.
The original chips are now back in the car while I am trying to get hold of some good stage-1 tuned maps.

If some of you gurus could help me with this I would be eternally grateful.

I've made a mistake in previous post.

Apparently the early ECUs for MB e290td (0281001283) have maps in two 27C010 eproms as opposed to the later versions (0281001620) which are double in size.
My eprom programer/reader was miss-configured to read 27C020 chips so the content was read twice.
I am attaching the corrected original files for 0281001283.

Any help with remapping these would be appreciated. I am looking for a moderate (stage 1) tuning and/or EGR delete.

p.s. I was able to find few tuned files for the later ECU model but for 0281001283 no luck so far.

Sorry for screwing the Thread but i would like to ask the pro tuners here a question:

do you have any experience with tuning a mercedes W203 220CDI Om611 EDC15C6 automatic transmission? It has 143hp and 315 NM stock, im looking for an ECO tuning with EGR off. just slightly more Power and a little bit more torque. something around 155 hp and 345NM would do it! main aim should be less fuel consumption and earlier turbo boost as im towing trailers quite often.
so my question ist whether the mechanic part of engine/transmission is going to withstand the ecotuning or not. please share your experiences!

Can someone remove egr from the file? I tried to read it with kess v2 but got checksum error all the time so i used mpps v16 instead and it seems to be ok.
So in all my problem is the old ecu is edc15c5 and the new one is edc15c6.
I need only egr off.

Can anybody provide an ECOTUNING for this car? I need a little bit more power and torque (around +10HP and +30NM).
This should be enough. Important for me is that the car consumes less Diesel and that turbo boost starts a little bit earlier.
And please guys turn EGR off. I hate EGR :excitement::rofl:
