safir 2 immo offf

hi all
i have a clio 2 ph1 that i changed ecu and made it immo off
it is a SAFIR 2
55 PIN
27C512 EPROM
NOW THE CAR START BUT WITH 2 CYLINDER ONLY(1&4)
cyLINDER 2&3 NOT WORK

CAN SAMEONE PROPOSE ME A SOLUTION FOR THIQ BIGG PROBLEMM,????

Cils 2 & 3 not supplied by ecu, ecu broken, go to electronics with it, but safir 2 is siliconed so who can fix it ?
Maybe find a good one ?
It can be fixed but that silicone compound is almost impossible !

You can`t reset injector in ecu, it`s not diesel . Can`t be resetted !
Did you verify the coil block ? Those coils give high voltage to cil 1&4 simultaneous and after that 2&3 .
A tester could show you your failure.
It is possible the coil block is broken not the ecu. It`s a common failure.

Safir 2 is 35 pin connector. Maybe is FENIX 5 , with 55 connector and for engines 1.4 and 1.6 immo is on line 37,
engines 1.8 and 2.0 is line 35.
Immo off you should with Reno hand device ( search, you`ll find it ) or that method with shunt, explained very well in a thread i`ve read some time ago also here on dk. Yes it works with a shunt if you have the guts to do it !!:bawling:

Definitely your ecu is FENIX 5, 55 pin, 27C512 prom.

SAFIR 2 is 35 pin and it is based on TMS 374 MCU, no prom for virginising only inside TMS virgin

it is the (bios) of ecu,it has the ecu program,...if one pin is not connected,it wont ever work.

What is your conclusion ?
It is ecu or HV coils. Change coils first, it`s more simple, you can borrow a coil assembly and test.
If ecu, bad luck, give it back to the guy who sold it to you.

If you started the car, i would think your immo off procedure succeeded . But the engine should work with all 4 cils, immo on-off is for all cils, or do you think your procedure made immo off only for 2 cils ??

Hi All,
i have also problem with safir 2 ecu,
car also only runs on two cilinders, if i diagnose it with can clip i get error message that there is no signal from flywheelsensor, i already changed this sensor with a new one and measured the cables from sensor to the ecu connector, al seams to be ok, my gues is the input from the ecu is defect ?
Did anyone ever had this problem and can it be fixed because of the silicone?

B+ schould be on pin 1 i guess, as soon as i get to the car i am working on i will measure it if it actually is pin 1.
