There is a bug in R4i Gold V1.69b, which make it can't work on R4i Gold card. While we run R4i-Gold 3DS card on Nintendo 3DS console with R4i V1.69b, it shows: "pleaes download correct firmware from r4i-gold.com, or upgrade the r4i gold card". So R4i-Gold team fixed the problem and released new r4i V1.70b (http://r4town.com/news/114/R4i%252dGold-kernel-updated-to-R4i-V1.70b-on-22nd.html) firmware. It works well on Nintendo 3DS, DSi and DS console.
