Hello Friends!
There is a car Toyota Yaris 2007 petrol. The car has a smart key. Central locking works, the ignition is turned on. By Immo no errors, one error by the motor: B2799 Engine Immobiliser System. I think we should do synchronization immo and ecu? If I'm right tell me how to do it. Thanks in advance for any help.
Immo: ECU Aggregation Toyota 89300-52051 Denso inside 93C66
Engine ECU: Toyota 89 661-0D400 Denso inside 93C56 (RH56)

immo and ecu sync need if u change ecu or immo . if u not change any thing . than no need it check wiring . when u insert the key security light is gone off or its blinking . check these all things . after that check signal in injectors and coils .

DTC No: DTC B2799
Detection item: Engine Immobiliser System Malfunction

Trouble area:
-------------
1) Error in communication between ECM and transponder key ECU, or in communication line.
2) Communication ID in transponder key ECU is different.

This DTC is output when:
------------------------
1) the ECM detects errors in its own communication with the transponder key ECU.
2) The ECM detects errors in the communication lines.
3) The ECU - ECM communication IDs between the transponder key ECU and the ECM are different and an engine start is attempted.

The problem has appeared in a smart key. It isn't defined and not read on the programmers transponders.
But the car must still be made ...

TIA

Hi all,
Does someone have a wiring diagram to share for this car?
Specifically the immo to ecm section?

Tnx!

My problem was caused by broken LIN wire from IMMO ecu to engine ecu
