Hi Guys,

I have a Daewoo Lanos here with an ECU fault. Sometimes there's ingition sign to the 1-4 coil, but the sign to the 2-3 coil never present...

Also, when cranking the fuel pump sometimes work, sometimes not. There's absolutely no communication with the ECU with neigther of the 4 diagnostic tools I've tried. Wiring is OK, components OK, so it can't be anything but the ECU itself.

I've checked the usual wiring inside the ECU (seems similar to Simtec), but those are OK.

Is there a way to repair this, or should I replace the ECU? If so, is there an Opel equivavlent to this, as there's NO such ECU for sale here for a Daewoo...

Thanks,

Tibi

Excuse the awful wiring, it was just a temporary installation to rule out two wires, but they were also good. That will be replaced with proper cooper wires IF the ECU is repairable.

The ECU is now on the post from the UK. Will have to make the immo off from the new ECU.

What method should I use? The corresponding Opel solution?
