can any help, i have a ford ranger 1996-98 model british ,have lost the keys and need help to get ot started

try to find the immobox or ecu eeprom and post it here and read any 4c glass transponder used or new we will help you

its an older one it may not have a obd socket locate the immo box if you get stuck

Don't think this has a Immo with chip. I think it's with ford remotes like Rover (don't unlock by remote dose not start).

USA model to program keys may be the same as yours. Turn on ignition for 15 minutes 3 times. Use 4C key.

That is not applying to this model:
Ranger from 1999-2000 use 4C and the manual programming new keys without use of programmed keys
"CAN BE CARRIED OUT ONLY BY DEALER, by means of a electronic device (tester) connected to the immobilizer."

where is the car us market or europe cause 1996 i think no transponder for ;ight truck but check it

If it has a coil around the ignition it has a chip. Simple to check.
