For better understanding jomberykaso - If you use digiprog, you will do the job but in EZS will be 999999 or something like that. For EZS you can use programmer like R270/xprog and then cluster - it's not hard job and you will have same mileage in cluster and ezs.

having same problem with obd after connection to same dash , obd does not work anymore for mileage but still connects to car for service reset or error reset. which is at fault main unit or lead ?

so after reading through quite a few pages on this thread besides st16 cable could be at fault (have another from a yanhua version.main unit got stolen) tried that cable still same so something on canbus is not working . opened main unit and it is poor quality clone . no ftdi chip or associated parts to connect to pc. parts resoldered already loooks like main processor has been soldered by a child (most likely was). so il buzz round all board with hot air station . if no sucsess will request money back (for principle that its still in warranty. see if they send me a new main unit .

heard gal chip , relays ,transistors etc could be at fault . but my guess is either bad relay or poor soldering .

Original Digiprog 3 has a large difference from the clone.
Original device consists of two boards. PCB layout is very different!

use cluster plug or program chip.
first set to 999999km. then install cluster and put the car on contact for 1minute. then program cluster to any value.

If do it like this tou dash Will always show 999999.

You must save your ori dump, then change in 999999, put this in the Car and do ignjtion on.
Then remove dash again and upload ori dump, and change in any value you like.

I was also thinking about this but normally in MB if vin is different it shows only ------ and i was thinking that ezs would not accept the milleage from dash.

Not by OBD, but you can open the cluster and read the 93C86 eeprom using the eeprom menu then start a thread in the dash section to have it calculated.

you have to program the 35160 chip in cluster and the cas4 (or fem?) module.

or cluster + can filter cable behind cluster to block cas. but digiprog can't program 35160

I checked oscilloscope pulses on a k-line - it works. Request pulses seen. Old mileage does not see, writing a question mark.
Once on the Fabia was exactly the same, but I took a chance and odometer adjust successfully

Audi A1 2012 digiwigy ok service reset ok clear errros said ok but checked with cdp+ and not cleared. VCDS did not work with A1 (gateway not supported). I mean with digi 4.85.

A lot of sw versions om A1 most Will fail with Digi.
Better to invest in Some tool that Will do the job.

Of course and EWS, for motorola I like to work with etl, never let me down. But at e46 even if mileage in EWS is higher or lower then dash/lcm, it will not be issue at all. It will just stop counting km in ews until you get same km on dash/ews

Remove eep, make good backup and read as other Toyota with c86
If you get good milleage Reading just program.

New Aygo i use Toyota IQ and same algo, or use nyo.

Hi i have bought the DIGIPROG 3 CLONE the device has come but it does not work ;/;/;

1. I tried to do the odometer in VW Touran 2.0 TDI 2005 and it gives the messege:
"CHIP NOT FOUND" when i try to connect with odometer chip.
When i connected with ecu via OBD II, then it has changed the milage in ecu, bu with odometer i have tried several times and checking connections and it is the same



2. I tried also to do odometer in TOYOTA PRIUS II 2008
It read the milage but when i do the new millage for example 170123 km firstly it shows:
"check writen value: and 111595km" when i type ok. then it restarts...

So in check written value is almost always bad correction. (Do not pass that what i have typed before) and did not do the correction just restart to Main Menu.
tried several times, have resorder the connections, but stil the same.

Can i do sth with it?

But it should be ok with digi by diag.
Maybe your cable is bad, take Some time and read all.

What do you mean good tools? Orginal? Yeah i have thought about buying DP4 (Diagpro4) will it be enought for the first device? For Begining?
But know i have bought Digiprog3 and want to learn sth I now that i can brick sth. But ok I now the risk.

As You know to change the milage and get tacho out of the car in Prius. I had to take the whole dash out it took me 1,5-2h and now it stay in my garage so i want to make the milage here as quick as possible.

When in doubt, use the eeprom menu to read, save the file and post it here in a new thread to be corrected by someone that can do it better than Tachosh1t or you will end up with flashing odometer or error. lol

I have bought a USB UPA and will try to do it with it. Because my DigiProg 3 doesn't have FDI CHIP and i cannot connect it with computer, and keep restarting when I do WRITE on EEprom.

Any suggestion before doing it with USB UPA Eeprom Programmer? Which program beter to use. which adapter? It will be my first Eeprom programming.

Hi everyone!
can someone tell me how to connect the Dash from Toyota Prius II C66 2007/8 with USB UPA?

Now i have soldered the adapter from DIGIPROG3 (green wire is allready desoldered).

And using the same points i want to connect it with USB UPA to flash Eeprom manually, but cannot find .pdf what connectors are what.

On the picture is USB-UPA with adapter that in my opinion suits 93CS66 witch is Toyota Prius II.
Can someone give a solution.

I have desolder a screen and using multimeter looked for a pins/connector and...

Fore those who will need is in the FUTURE:

Looking for my last picture the pins are:

1-RED
2-Free
3-BLUE
4-BROWN
6-YELLOW
5-WHITE

the pins 7 and 8 are not on that side of board, and I had to solder them directly on pins on 93C66 x16.
(BTW. How enigma, and DIGIPROG changes Milage without that pins? USB UPA hadn't write/verfy good chip without pin 7.

On Usb-UPA I used 93C66 x16 instead of 93C66 beacuse on 93C66 i had errors, so that chip is 16 bit, am I right?

Ok use the same pinout like digi with upa but i think your display is not good if the calculation was wrong you couldnt see numbers only ------- your display is kapot:(:(:( put it in car and look if you get all the numbers displayed look if the display pins are good solderd and BTW you wil never get precies 190.000 its always 190.069 or some thing like that its for sure display not good correction is ok

hey guys..I can't change KM to Mile on cluster Land Rover Discovery 2 2003.I was doing correction of mileage and couple of time I was changing the mileage because I tried to make it same (cluster and BCU)! And now I can't to change from Km to mile..:(

I will add here fille of eeprom 93c56 and file of Mororola MC68HC11PH8 and if someone can tray to do reprogram of those files and make in both on 126 000 miles or something close that number.

I suspect that eeprom 93c56 file isn't good because of too many failed attempts at changing the mileage.If someone has good file for 93c56 Land Rover Discovery 2...2003year and will share with me I will appreciate it.

P.S I successfully read and did reprogramming with DigiProg on eeprom and Motorola ( put 126103 on both ) and when I return all back on the car it start out normal and then after two seconds it starts flashing again and I also can't change kilometers to miles.:banghead::witless:

When i click diag it turns dashboard off for a little while then says VERIFY then it turns to TRY. Dashboard turn on but it TRY forever.

I am trying to re adjust (back to original) milage on a Vw Golf 3 with TRW Cluster and 93LC46 eeprom. Is this even possible via Digiprog 3? I only can find the 93C46 or 93CS46 type in the eeprom menu. As far as I know the LC is based on 16bit and the C on 8bit.

How can I solve the problem?

Lol yes i do but i dont think is 9s12 here i post a pic. Motorola visteon 2001 i believe st35 cable but couldnt get no read. Help apreciated clusters.

Yeah HC11 forget it, I have never had any luck reading any HC11 with Digi.

I guess they are the same. Motorola visteon 2001 its what it says on mcu but its 2003. I guess got no luck with digi. Anyone done it diferently?

Yup, that's the HC11, better off with UPA USB on those or a different programmer capable of reading them.
