Hello all,

I need to replace an ECU MM 61600.542.08 from a Golgf 4 1.6 16V gasoline with an other of similar serial number as can not find the same one locally.
Is it enough to read the old one via OBD and program the file to the new one via OBD also or...?

Thank You in advance
B.R.

you just need to find the same ECU from same engine used on VAG's then do the immo swaping procedure discribed in Ross-tech site or do immo off

Unfortunately I can not find the exact same type and serial number.
The original is IAW 4MV.F 61600.542.08 and the closest i have found is IAW 4AV.VA 61600.394.08
Is this "same ECU" enough or not?
