Hello Guys
I have been looking around for good butane soldering iron, bought a few from eBay, one was leaking gas, another one I couldn't fill, yet another one is working , but doesn't heat up enough cuz the flame is too small and nothing there to regulate the flame, one from china I couldn't put together, I can't find them
Locally in a good tip size for our work, they are all too big. Could you please share if you have used a good one and where to buy it from ?

I have also ordered a dc soldering iron, waiting for it to arrive, are those any good ? Any experience with those ?
Thanks

Got myself a Dremel Versatip for a while now.
DREMEL? VersaTip? (2000-6) - Dremel (http://www.dremeleurope.com/dremelocs-uk/product/2718/330/dremel%C2%AE-versatip%E2%84%A2/dremel%C2%AE-versatip%E2%84%A2)

Its got various tips that work well. But for a super sharp tip, I easily tapped a thread onto a tip from my smd desktop station and drilled a hole down the centre and out the side. That works like a charm for those very small pins.

Also it comes in a handy case with a sponge, solder holder, etc so it's very much a "grab 'n go" setup.

I have Weller Pyropen WSTA6 (as z786 posted) for couple of years and can't complain! Very good tool...
