I have done immo off on this ecu ok, but I have 2 sirius 32 ecu's with flash 29f200AB, and willem keeps failing after writing, even if i try to write back ori dump, still verify fails.

All works ok if flash is 29f200BB, anyone else had this problem, or have a possible solution?

Can I use 29f200BB in place of 29f200AB, will ecu work ok?

Thanks, ninja

I always erase first.

As i said, this problem only with AM29F200AB.

Flash AM29F200BB always work fine.

I use a psop44 adapter.

Can I use a 29F200BB in place of 29F200AB?

Any help would save me ass!!

This is driving me bonkers now!

I have 6 sirius 32 ecu's here now, 3 have AM29F200BB flash, other 3 have AM29F200AB flash.

I can read, write, erase no problem the AM29F200BB, but can not write to the AM29F200AB, cant even write the ori file back (verify fails). All 3 flashes do the same.

Do i have problem with my willem??

Is there another programmer that can read/write this flash?

thanks for any info, ninja

If my mind dont fails, BB and AB have different addresses thats why fails in verification, find 200AB in programmer menu and retest.

By accident i found a solution to avoid failing with willem on those flashes..keep a flux of hot air on it during programming and it will writte without errors,i dont know why but it works for me...
