SMART BRABUS SAM PROBLEM

Hello all menbers

I have a problem, have a smart fortwo 450 cabrio, I try to replace the SAM for a one used from a brabus cabrio I read perfect with xprog, edit the VIN in the two address and when connect in the car the vin is deleted, go to MB STAR DAS and in the vin is displayed yyyyyyyyyy

I try 3 times, and 3 times the vin is erased , if put one vin from other fortwo not brabus the VIN is not erase,why this is erase if the car is brabus?

can any correct the original file for the new VIN,I can make the san virgin and make initial startup with das, but the original car not have k10 and P25 smart options in the vdoc , and I am interested in this features available in the used SAM


the final vin is WME4504331J066193

I had the same problem in SAM 451.
Vin deleted to 00000...
I changed VIN in dash, not in SAM

sorry you want to change the data processor? if this is what you do ... wrong way! The processor has a Ram and Rom, you can change the data in one of these ... but not the Rom. What can be done is to change the processor side to side of the sam! is easier. how about you?

I onl have this problem in brabus car, normal vin not have this problem

the vin is stored in the eeprom memory, change is easy, but brabus have any funtion that remove the vin

you can read and not lift reset pin but to write all memory you must lift reset pin

I Not have problem for read or write the eeprom or flash memory in the 450 or 451 sam

I have make this 100 times, and change vin all times with right choice.

My problem ,is only when try to put in the dump a vin from a brabus car. I write the new dump, and read the dump, and all is ok. the dump, have the right vin brabus that I code in the dump

the problem ,is when install in the car this sam, and put ing +15 on. the car erase the vin that I write in the sam, the software from the sam check the vin, if is brabus erase the vin. understern? the brabus vin is protected, and need protected off this option, if put in this sam a non brabus vin, and all is ok. is not a procedure problem is that brabus ,protect your software, identical that if put a dump in ecu engine fron brabus and not make scn ,the car not start or star only one time or display a turbo problem and go to safe

brabus protect your software ,and other smart vin id not protected

I need know if have any a solution for this case.

yes, I have try. not a sam problem or dump problem

the problem is BRABUS, i need disable the protect funtion on brabus

I wanted to copy the contents of the eeprom of another sam ,but also ame clears the vin i reread the files after you have connected the sam to the car

I only changed SAM in my car, tested SAM V10
The Vin does not change.
Test this dump after connection.
DAS read VIN ok.

the right dump is the first. Please open and change the vin to WME4504331J066193 write and try.

As i read you need the codes K10(auto doors lock) and P25(auto lighting) correct?

Yes I try add K10 and P25, I try add equipament with 5/2012 in the developer menu, and with tan code in 07/2007 version.

the codes are stored in the equipament list , but not run , not run K10 and not run P25

for resolve I installed a virgin sam, and program with a vin from a 2007 brabus cabrio with this options. and unmount ,read the eeprom and mod the dump with the original car vin

But my surprise is when install in the car and the car delete the the vin. in this situation the the K10 an P25 run but have the problem that the km are not displayed in the dashboard (YYYYYYYYY vin in the sam)

know you why delete the vin if the vin is a brabus car?
