hi
i'm trying to read mc68hc11f1 from fiat seicento IAW 16f with xprog.I followed the pinout instructions but i get error
"Device is silent.Timeout error"
Any ideas about pinout or something?

hi m8.try to read with upa.....i read with it many times without to desolder the mcu.if you need dump for immo off tell me.

if you are using Xprog-M clone you need to do all modifications to be able to read HC11 and HC05 processors corectly, I can read it with xprog without a problem but I don't remember if I cut wires from board or lift any pin...

with upa lift only one pin rx and read ok.try it and with xprog

my x-prog read ok this mcu but you need to desolder and put in adaptors

or beter use clock file for eprom 27C512...

I read this MCU with UPA serial and UPA usb, not need to lift pin.

conect rx, tx, reset, and mod A and mod B to GND, but i use power suply on ECU, and read OK.

i don't have adapter for this mcu.
it is plcc68.please post photo or schematic.
