R4 ultra games search

Hey guys I know the r4 ultra is really old and not supported anymore, and im probably going to buy a new card. I was just wondering what are the latest games that this r4 card can handle or play. Also how can i tell if the game works on that card I already had a couple of games from like 4 years ago i believe set up. Also how would cheats work out. Will the time of the game release date help me figure out if it wil play or not? Thanks

look at the date on your firmware.

all games released before the fimrware should work, games released after the date may contain additional AP measures which will prevent it working on the card...

EDIT: Also I got some games that came out in 2009 I believe but there is no way to get the newest games/roms correct?

was released in 2009 or 2010.

you can search for patched roms, might get some newer games that way. (a bit of a hit or a miss)

or if you google "retrogame fan" thewy have a collection of unofficial fimwares for r4/r4i clones.
you might get something there.. :)
