to the masses,im looking for a little guidance on the mentioned phone please,i got this brand new from asda yesterday morning,i have been googling and on xda (although i cant post in the development section) on how to root this phone,im not interested in a custom rom as i have one on my samsung,however i would like to remove all the bloatware/google junk as i have done for my sammy..but with so many threads and guides about it im not sure which path to take as it has gotten totally confusing,with half a dozen methods some say all work some say half work!!? tech spec as follows:

android version 4.1.1
baseband 76xxu-usnskolym-2540
kernel version 3.4.0-perf
build number 11.3A.0.59
at the moment its telling me an update is ready which will make the build number up to 11.3.A.2.23...
i dont want to update just yet as i know from reading that the update does something to the bootloader to make it locked or unlocked,im not sure which now though and dont want to update then find i have to downgrade/reflash to root the damn thing!!
