hi guys
been working with gregorz on the 912 mcu
we got it cracked as his latest software and firmware updates had a bug and mine wasnt working
so a heads up if your doing anything with the device till the bug is ironed out
i was working on a dash mini one
the clocks were dead after doing the km with microcalc
so do this before changing anything on these clocks or anything jtag for now
read whatever device your doing....flash and save, eep and save
its one of my prime directives when using a programmer anyways
if you have the option to read it do so and save it before you try write anything
this way you have backups to fall back on
what it was doing is this...
when hooking up to dash and selecting the mcu in multiprog it was sticking on unsecuring...
then would error
so i found a flash file for the said mcu hw04 sw14 and flashed it
then i wrote the orig eep back and tested
boom it fired up...
so microcalc and changed km
powered dash again and nothing but backlights !!
so wrote the flash back and tested it and it fired up perfectly
i think when its unsecuring its fluffing the flash of the mcu up for some reason
gregorz is working on this so i thought id give you guys a heads up
dave
EDIT...
or just hang fire for a few days till gregorz fixes it ;)

Hi!
After the last update 1.40.3.6 (firmware 1.79) problem is not solved.
Checked with EZS Mercedes 211 545 10 08 with MC68HC912DC128A.
If you try to bypass the protection, the procedure fails and an error.
This partially damaged FLASH contents. And it's too bad if you have no backup.
In recent versions of the program box firmware can not be rolled back to work correctly with older versions software.
But it can be done if you use the installation kit for the earlier versions.
Install this version, disclaim network updates and program the box firmware.
Setup_MultiProg_1.14.0.1_fw_1.16.zip
https://mega.nz/#!rhpSgL7Z!GTLBAs-5U3P-o64sKc4riE6lBoejXaGY06UKImYMFuo
Then you can install a more recent version of the most stable.
For example, this version:
Setup_MultiProg_1.40.3.3_fw_1.77.zip
https://mega.nz/#!r9w31ChB!U2EGIR_gOtc8xN2rIwzOHDBd7NNtr4EiAraVtij w4Vk
Or this version, it is more stable to work with a MC68HC912DC128 series of MCU.
Setup_MultiProg_1.36.0.5_fw_1.60.zip
https://mega.nz/#!XpoDxT4T!ATRDJEZ1_-zYz-_TC9NVIyGvvEFAnvT1GUroEZ2u5kU
When you start, you should refuse to upgrade from the network. It is necessary to avoid problems.
Good luck! :)

I have Old Box , first generation , and I keep it on old software 1.37.0.8 v with Micro Calculator 1.43 V and never has problems.
For me there is no reason to Update to new one as I have only HC 12 and Micronas.

Mates, just quick question, mini cooper 2003-2006, with two small clocks over the stering wheel and big rpm on the middle (no navi) what modules need to be done for mileage? Its truth only 9s12 in middle clock is enough or ews also need to be done?

Marty the only way to do the 2003 mini cooper 9s12 secured mcu is with the rosfar r260? On a regular cluster with out navi. So it's imposible to do it this job with a clone digiprog3 or tacho pro 2008?
