Hi guys. Adjusted mileage on the new ford focus 2019 (68) plate and all good except after around 1 hour the mileage changed to display XXXX . Luckly i saved eeprom on my smok and re writing it fixed problem but as soon as i changed the mileage again with dp plus the same problem. Any ideas?

SMOK cannot do some 2018+ RH850 dash, the big tools are failing and you expect a $200 chinese machine to do it 😂😂

If the expectation was real then we would all ditch the ENIGMAS, DP4, ABRITES, DIGIPROG 4(original), DASHCODER etc and buy X300M

Even if it does 3-5 cars you have more than your moneys worth back so to all those complaining it dont do a particular car, i bet your bedroom correctors

I have tested 2016 Full LCD, it worked on X300DP, but need internet connection for adjusting...I think X300M will not work because it has no wi-fi hardware..

Removed battery from key, used key in the normal slot to start ignition (not engine) and it completed in around 25 minutes, no problems.

kept failing update completion. As the two makes were no good use to me
I abandoned the update. With this I found out that once update selected
& started, it must be update completion. Otherwise the menu " Cluster Calibrate"
would disappear from the tablet until all updates completion
I attached a picture showing missing " Cluster Calibrate" menu(Diag Program).

common thing mate its missing until fully updated. sometimes a quick reboot solves the problem of the updates failing and then the cluster menu returns :) hope this helps

Another month, another new post on the OBDSTAR website and still no update for the X300m.

That together with the price dropping to ~180 GBP makes it look like the X300m is dead.

Never mind, i'll keep it in the toolbox for MQB and not buy OBDSTAR again.

I have tried on 2019 Toyota CHR with the X300M with the latest software update.
There are 2 options - D70F35xx and D70F3535On D70F3535 - "Function not supported"On D70F35xx it will detect the correct milage and will allow you to change it. Unit says 'successful' and the meter resets ... but milage remains the same.
I have checked the meter and it is a VDO with the D707F3535 chip.
Is this a problem with the X300M? Will the X300 DP work? Or is it because my car is too new?

Have tried this, but still the same problem. It says it's changed. I take off the battery for more than 5 mins. when I connect again, it's the same km.
I understand the X-Tool and Smok both do the Toyota CHR, but they are more expensive compared to X300M. But I think I'll have to try X-Tool because X300M Not working for me

It would 99.9% be cheaper to buy the x300 dp plus Which has the mileage and immo functions, same with lonsdor with the K518ISE AND K518, adding on would not really make sense for the end consumer, makes sense for the manufacturer more $$$

The rate obdstar are going by releasing new products and killing the older models, not long before everyone realises they playing games with everyone, and everyone moves to a "consistent" product that does not keep changing names but has frequent updates

X300M cannot do VW Beetle 2000, it should be a golf/bora/beetle RB4, if VDO DP3 best, if Motometer C66 then SMOK Kline connection

Also for reference 2002 Audi A3 cannot be done with tools like X300M, it is MM dash and needs to be stripped to do by JTAG

share you a method to solve the problem-it fails to communicate or program when using OBDSTAR hand-held devices
(such as OBDSTAR X300M, X100 pro, H105, H series tools, F-series tools, etc.)
You can save the Log data and send to OBDSTAR engineer or distributor to figure out thereason.

The step-by-step-guide:
Step 1: Connect OBDSTAR device and start it
Press “OPTION”-> Press “Data Logging”-> Press “ON” -> Press ESC-> Back to the main menu

Step 2: Keep the OBDSTAR hand-held device at “ON” state
Go to test the car
When it fails to do the program, power off the machine
Step 3: Take out the TF card where there is a LOG file
Step 4: Send the LOG file to your distributor or OBDSTAR engineer
They can study the data and figure out the reason

Please kindly notice:
Every time when you power off the OBDSTAR auto key programmer, Data Logging would be “OFF”.
So if you want to save the data next time, please repeat the procedures above.
