View Full Version : Ford C-Max 2.0 TDCi year 2013 crank but does not start !

Hello mates,
I have a big problem with this Ford C-Max 2.0 TDCi 115hp PowerShift.
Engine crank but not starts !

Long Story in Short:

Car was damaged by water, BCM and RCM unit was damaged.
For this reason BCM does not communicate with Electric Steering Lock (car has smart key) and does not unlock steering lock.
With closed steering lock is not possible power on ignition.
Another problem was RCM module with a lot of water, it was in crash mode but car does not have any accident !

I changed the BCM with another working one (same hardware and software).
I read MCU SPC560B64 and eep 95320 inside damaged BCM with X-prog (genuine) and write content in replacement BCM.
I do the same with RCM module, I transfer the dump of eep 95320 from original to replacement unit (crash cleared too).

Now the car unlock/lock steering and power on ignition perfect.
Smart keys recognized perfect.
Engine crank but not starts.
I don't have any DTC in PCM.

I check many things:
-fuel pump and injectors are ok (tested)
-fuel pressure (320-340) bar during crank
-RPM sensor (ok)
-Timing sensor
-PCM wiring (sensors, injectors, and many things)
-Engine is ok (engine run with spray)

If I disconnect any sensor-injector or any other things related to PCM it give me error normally.

I don't have any DTC related to Immobilizer.
Immobilizer of this car is PCM-BCM-RFA-Cluster, right ?

Please can someone give me an hand ?

Is there any other things that I'm missing ?
What could deny the engine start in this car ?

Whats fuel pressure when runs on easy start

I have fuel pressure in rail 320 bar, these cars start without any problem at 250-280 bar in rail

high pressure pump checked?

Yes mate, high pressure and injectors checked and it's ok !
This car has only one pump, no pump in the tank.
Today another problem: engine does not crank !
PCM does not send 12V to close relay R10 !
Can be a PCM problem ?
This car has Delphi DCM3.5

PCM changed and now engine crank but does not start.
I need an information: these cars crank with IMMO active ?
I don't have any DTC about PATS.

will not normaly crank with pats fault. would also get flashing red light if pats fault

Red led on blu cluster too ?
