2006 saturn aura cluster

hey group I have a 2006 Saturn aura cluster. I thought the mileage was stored in the bcm but when plugged new cluster in it had the wrong mileage. Does anyone have any information on this cluster?

It is stored in the BCM, did you try driving it a bit and see if it counts up?

It may have to be zeroed, as some GM will display the higher mileage till the BCM catches up, and some will update after a few miles.

No idea what's inside, you just have to open it and see.

Here's the BCM. You have to use a properly sized drill bit to shave off the flange…then it will come apart. The grey relay boxes you see must be removed also.

If you have the original dash unit, I would transfer over the original data to your replacement as it retains syncing data like VIN.

I do have the original cluster. so I will just transfer the data to the junk yard one. hopefully I have power up so I can place pointers back.

bring each gauge down to their lowest position and lightly mark the dials. On the way back, just make sure they land on those marks
