Hello, I have 2013 Chevy Silverado with module 13579116, can the crash data be cleared with scanner via obd2? or do I have to open up module an clear eeprom?

Thank you:)

Are you sure? I have seen many 2011-2015 Silverado, Sierra Tahoe and suburban. All able to clear non latched B0052 Deployment Commanded code. Don't know where you are but all you need is a scanner around here

you have not seen them yet, there is for example GM SONIC CAN CLEAR BY SCAN TOOL xc2361, THERE ONE YOU CAN NOT, 9S12XDT384, SILVERADO WITH XC2361 CAN CELAR BY OBDII , first deployment, Silverado with eeprom ST95320, can not clear by scan tool even if the first deployment, well I have see this working on it...:hmmmm:

Well, OP, what's the verdict?

This is a module for pretty much all gm trucks and suv's from about 2011-2014. I don't even bother to pull them out if they clear by scanner. Can't say I've ever come across 95320 eep

best is to open it up and clear crash from the chip directly. using OBDII works 50/50.
I heared from people that using a scanner for this can even make srs control unit go into "internal fault" sometimes.
I always just read chip directly
