1 Block abs
2 Make dash
3 Make abs by dump tool option
4 write org flash back to dash
5 Make ecu

becouse km stored in ECU too, and if you make ABS by dump then you can set km in ECU by OBD

And doing this way your original kms can show on dash after visit to dealer if its in for warranty work and gets a sotware update , 100%

Car: Peugeot 308 2008y
I tried to block sync BSI<-> dash. The sync block was accepted by the tool, but then it gives an error and the process was stopped (flash corrupted, no VIN, no mileage).
Although the car was "dead", I was still able to communicate with BSI. Backup of flash brought the car back.
I was told later, that the sync block functionality does not work properly. So use it at your own risk :)

Without "sync block" option it worked like a charm.

Very very very important, especially by psa, Mercedes, fiat body, is using the right usb cable.
Use a good quality with gold contact, and also don`t put your mobile Phone direct near your interface while you are programming !!!

Only new km Renault Clip can see but Smok can read old km on last places(8 position) like in new Volvo in PPD/DDM with Volvo diagnosis can see only one km (new km which you programming ) but with Smok you can see two km old and new, CEM module same thing . Other tool have similar tricks like Avdi , he can reading last 3 km in EZS but only one visible with MB Star, MB Compact , Delphi, Launch .....:)

One filter in dashboard if you have new km only in dash if you want to see new km also in EZS you must put one more can filter in EZS or on OBD . In these option also have clear assyst and reset service .

Smok diagram shows if you have SN > 3800, you use the purple wire and also I notice it states to use the green if MCU is secure, I assume it's secure so please advise if the green wire goes on the same point of the 5V red or you use one of the 2?

Something is very wrong with smok Mercedes cgw blocker for 204 and 212. I did one 212 and cgw is in bootloader so I thought it happened because I did not boost battery.

Then came another 204, I make sure I boost with stabilizer and then it freaking happen also. So now I have 2 cars to fix. Sigh.

Today successfully install donor Simos PCR 2.1 in VW Passat 2012 year , original ecu is water damage and didn't get any info from original ecu . Copying/ writing CS,PIN, VIN (comfort module car )and reflash ecu from Smok database and all ok from 30 min :-)
ps. Ecu must open only for unlocking ecu with boot mode everything else goes on OBD (also km change in ecu)

I am not to familiar with Crafter's. So when I push Read Info in Smok it will read PIN and CS from ECU ?? (EZS OBD read is not possible as I know) When it is EDC17 - I must take out EZS and read it with J-tag ?? I must precode with 7 bytes ?? VCDS can learn only precoded keys with 7 bytes for this car ??

Yesterday whilst changing kms in edc16 trafic/vivaro i got licence error before procedure ended , i now have no vin number or injector code showing on reread
van starting but not rev ,check injection ... i have saved screenshot of the 4 injector codes from smok screen .

Has this ever happened to anyone else who can advise best way forward ?

Smok fails to write vin or injector codes back and diagnostic has also failed when i tried.

For PQ35 ELV you need to know CS and pin form car where was taken to be able to adopt it. I do not thing there is any tool at moment that will not read any info form PQ35 ELV.
Same thing with Transmission on Audi A6.

Read Info means only to connect to right module.

I did C5 2012 dash and bsi no problem.

BTW berlingo and 207 dash is not listed

If you read the smok website it clearly states that you can block sync on Citroen berlingo, Peugeot 407, 207, 308 so that the dash does not need to be corrected

Indeed I did block syncro with berlingo and it says "block syncro selected" (so I hoped it could work) but when I disconnected battery all come back as original :(
I am supposed to disconnect dash to have block synchro work properly? Maybe only disconnect the dashboard fuse?

You can't read like this ,mcu needs oscillator when is out of the board ,solder back to cluster and connect cables and lift two pins from board like on the diagram.

If you working on old MM cluster , this is not secure MCU. But i do not see option to read /write flash in J-tag for unsecure MCU.

Car-prog is king for this job.

Anyway,
If you have MCU out , Use picture HC908 and no need green wire.

If you working on cluster direct, connection in pictures, white and gray need to lift leg.

Only dash not possible only if you can block the sync betwern dash and ezs. Other wise need to make ezs virgin and program dash and ezs will take dash km. Remember that in mercedes also stored in much more modules like ecu ,cgw , batterymodule, parking brake

Yugo it's secured HC08 and first I must read Sec Bytes. To read it Smok has diagram in Help (must lift one pin more and solder coax cable). I couldnt do it though.... :( I will work on it. I did it with X-prog but lost a lot of time with fu......g Chineese crap Motorola shit MCU's that cant write. The main problem for me working on this ones are good files (Eeprom+Flash) to write in new MCU. That's why I think of buying Carprog but if I have files I wouldnt have to... :( Carprog has their own files as I know and you can use them only with their hardware.

I read it with X-prog like this Yugo and for now there is only way I can red Eeprom and Flash. X-prog find's Sec Bites and r/w to new chip if it is no China crap. But I will check Your connection when have some spare time Friend.

I manage to do 204, 212 and 221 with smok. Also I manage to kill all 3 with smok as well. Have no idea why it kill, did the cars with stabilizer connected and car still die when blocking sync.

Had to program zgw manually with backup file. Smok cant write back through obd.

Ok,just to inform all of you,I tryed twingo 3 module for smart 453 Brabus 4 doors Xclusive.
It doesnt work, cant read ABS km right, while read dashboard right but when writing it says error writing. Reading Dashboard's Flash is ok. I dont know if I can just read Dashboard's flash and modify it with a second program and then reflash it.

wont work, mileage is backed up in mcu. if you can read mcu it would work, but they are secured and i am not aware of a tool that can bypass security on those.

only hope for this dashes is that someone will find a way to inject his own code in ram which would read mcu p/d flash

then another problem is dump calculation as they all have rsa signature, no way to crack this with conventional methods

long story short, looks like a dead end, reminds me on satellite encryption early days...

Now I see clone digiprog can do dash only in 10 seconds, is it really works so easy? Also has ezs by obd...
