Just some of the older stuff, I have a used car lot that handles a lot of older Toyota. I make remotes for 4c and 4d key systems, 2012 and before, some do not work, most do. I use the Honda style wired remote for a lot of them because it has panic on it, most of the customers want it. I check Icc and Fcc numbers in Mike Hyde's Books, and go from there in trying to match remote listing in key tool. I keep it simple, don't try to do too much. I did a 2004 camry most recent, with RHK from x horse without transponder, and remote programmed right in.

That is strange... Most of my failures aren't complete failures, usually a button not working. I stick with wired- I use aftermarket chips from American Key, I don't try to program Xhorse, although I have done so successfully. I use brand new battery every time, and check signal output before I try to program.

Today I had tried to clone id48 96bits and query never ends. Sniffer data is ok with 8 samples and upload data, but i repeat server calculation never ends.

Here are some other issues I've noticed.
Can not clone a temic 12. This was for a Sprinter van. Every time I read the chip data from the working key the data would change. I had to use a different tool for cloning.

Cannot generate a 7935 with a super chip. I made a blank and bmw 7935 for an ews system. AK 90 gave me verify errors when trying to write to them. Also tried to make an ID33 for a Mazda and the car would not go into programming mode when using this chip.
Anybody successfully made a 7935 from a superchip?

Sometimes it takes a very long time to calculate using the mini key tool even longer than the wait time written on the queue number so you have to be very patient. The last one i did wrote time required as 10 minutes, i waited almost 20 minutes. I guess the server takes more time to process each query

Network connection is required only for ID48-96bit and 4d83-80bit. All other are offline.
It's not connected to the transponders you use for writing the cloned data.

No they dont! offline clone involves writing over part of the encryption key and has a risk of something going wrong and leaving the encryption key changed and then the transponder wont work... hence the warning

You are correct its GQ4-29T. I had this same issue with a 2010 corolla and a 2003 Rav 4 also but i later discovered that you have to hold the lock and unlock buttons together for more than a second and and also the lock button for more than a second although it took several tries before the two cars i mentioned accepted the remote fobs. Just keep trying as many times until it is accepted

9 out of ten remotes I have tried fail with Xhorse. Don't waste your time with this tool. All those remotes that failed I did perfectly fine with keydiy. Keydiy is years ahead when it comes to remotes.

Yes, I have generated many chips for Mits from blank 7936. You have to use the brand name Nxp chips. The generic china chips will not program to the car.

What are you talking about? None of us has received 1 year of free daily ID48 cloning with the original Key Tool!
It is only an option for the Mini. And you didn't answer the question - can one buy another year of ID48 cloning after the first free year?

By the way, what is the real idea of the KeyTool MAX? I don't see any differences compared to the first KeyTool except the bigger screen and option to connect with this OBD2 adapter with unknown value and functions. If it only can do diagnostics there is no point at all. It is just changing the outfit of the same product... and no actual reason to update from KeyTool to KeyToolMAX.

Anyone generated and programmed remote for Chrysler 300C 2005 year?

I have headache with KEYDIY NB remotes because they just don't work. To be more specific, in software APP its mentioned NB remotes must be produced from January 2019 onwards but the problem is, sellers send them randomly and I already tried 3 different remotes which I bought 1 month ago from my seller in Poland but none of them work...

Maybe xhorse remotes work 100%, thats why Im asking because I need to get it done and I don't want to have next headache by trying next bath of KEYDIY remotes.

My friend already sent my xhorse generated remote but want to be sure before I call customer to come back, he's not local.

Tried all the remote in KIA section. Again no luck. The customer went to another locksmith and did it with xhorse remote.
Should i have tried all Hyundai remotes too? Is there any trick? I am kinda confused.

Some on eBay for around £60.
As far as I know,this is in circuit 4d, remote goes in automatically. No manual procedure for remote.

When the customer arrived he had allready had a key cut at Timpsons,key was like a non remote type for say MX5
I thought maybe the whole wasnt deep enough & the chip was to far from ignition,i cut the proper Ranger key but then still had an issue as the VVDI superchip doesnt fit in the space provided,To thick.
Holding it by ignition worked fine.

They released price of the KEY TOOL PLUS "super flat" for Pre-Order - $2500... No info about availability yet.
But they posted a statement it will not replace the other VVDI specialized tools like VVDI2, VVDI BMW, VVDI BGA and VVDIprog which they will continue to develop with more "professional" functions.
On release it would have two versions and mostly free updates except the important ones.

About GL version explaination

From different regions customer's feedback, they also need some other regions remote options(like ME region they also need some SE and EU database options)
So from 2.3.5 firmware there is GL version(Global) for customers

1. GL version from old 3 regions include(EU ME SE), those 3 old regions will automatically change to GL version from 2.3.5 firmware.
2. GL version will cover more remote options, will keep updating and adding more remotes（if you find any options missing compare to old region version,you can PM me, we will update）
3. GL version already released universal smart key generation options
4. If customer still prefer to keep old region version, just PM me about your device SN, i will setting back for you.(GL or keep old region version)

I would like to update v3.3.5, it be in the GL version
I did update v.3.3.5 and the characters are unreadable, I had to return to the old version.
how do i update?

must be a wrong software load to remote,
If you can use a VVDi2 with china database - then you can generate it
if not - return to seller for exchange

in a past manufacture did some mistake and sent randomly wrong remotes to Eu
but sellers exchange that , or VVDi2 database and you can still use it

this remote is prepared on the basis of v238 remotes, update your key tool via a computer and the database of remotes will be updated.

Hi, I contacted xhorse technical support and so far I have no answer or solution for this problem.

I upgraded with xhorse upgrade kit, it was renewed for sw. 3.3.5 and then it was inoperative, the LCD screen was all with DEF writing. I would like to know how to get back older version or fix this software error. I ask for help, please indicate the solution or contact person who can resolve.

Hello, I am planning to buy a xhorse mini key tool soon, something is wrong with me. i download the app and i went to the xhorse key mini tool menu, i found the information to be really bad.

example I choose key audi A1 Q3 ID48 8X0837220E 315M, it is indicated Use smart key to generate and program
Suitable for Audi A1 2016 transponder 48 315, after programming chip successfully, the remote will generate automatically.
Please use VVDI2 tools to learn remotes.

I take it that xhorse key tool mini will not be able to copy? why it says xhorse key mini tool does id 48 if it is not able to do a double?

hi , xhorse id48 clone can not clone mqb key or smart key , for mqb keys , you need to do as the info guide , generate remote option to make mqb key and use vvdi 2 to program it , that is the correct way

Maybe not? XN is NXP - we all know this. And XE is XT27 but can it be generated for Peugeot 307, for example? Anybody tried? I don't have one to try...
