Are you sure you are powering the ecu? The connections are fine for mpc

Hi,

all edc16, 4 left pins (2 up, 2 down) are not used.

Double check connection diagram

What tool do you use?

He said ktag

Did you try some another edc16 read? If you using ktag first time or new connection like via CAN or via BDM is possible that the cable is prepared wrong.. Maybe your bdm adapter no good. I had wrong set wires in CAN cable.. When I changed cables, connection runs.

If the probe was positioned wrong the first time and 12V was placed on the wrong pin, the ecu could be damaged now.

yes if you put the connector for bdm reading in wrong way ....ecu is bricked

Pin on MPC is internally damaged. You cannot repair it and BDM will never work. Get replacement ECU and I recommend not to try anything via OBD that will fully brick the ECU!

If only pad fly away it is possible to solder thin wire to bdm probe/adapter, but nescessery to find path from broken pcb pad...

Edited: i'm not read carefully. As they said, ecu replace.

MPC damaged. With wrong connection you blow up internal pin inside the MPC. You cannot repair it!
