HI EXPERTS, last week i replaced faulty ecu (EDC 15 VM+) with used (second hand) one. now engine starts but dies in 1 sec. because of active immo. immo lamp flashes in cluster. now, how can i retrieve pin or skc to adopt this ecu. kindly guide me. thanks in advance

Are Ecus same reference???
If yes simply clone (swap) eeprom

If they are different you can clone flash and also eeprom.

If you want also can read both eeprom to obtain ORI and DONOR Login

With this Logins you could make the whole process with a simple Vagcom.

You can also edit eeprom to allow INmo Off

For every solution we need more data, reference and eeprom...

Hi golfmkl, thanks for reply. both ecu = Bosch 038 906 012 F (diesel) old ori ecu eeprom= 24c04 3
i am newbee in this field. kindly guide me step by step if possible.

1) clone eeprom= do you mean, physically replacing eeprom from old ori ecu to current ecu?

2) I dont know , how to read eeprom and get login pin from both ecu can you help me?

find in dump 33 ...have 2 adress replace whith 60....al done ....succes....or post dump ......(ecu eeprom)

Hi , thanks to all . kindly explain ,how to dump ecu eeprom. i tried to read eeprom of ori ecu without removing from circuit board, using pony prog
program on win 7 pc but getting error= (probe) TEST FAILED ( I am using p4 computer, windows 7, 32bit and 5 volt external power supply
for the eeprom

If you have problem try simply swap eeprom

Hi, thanks. i dont want to tamper ecu.( because, even used ecu is very expensive in india)
so i need some hardware/ software solution to get pin or skc.

lot of experts use pony prog or other program to read eeprom successfully.
i dont know ,what i am doing wrong.

i cant get ori. ecu pin because ori. ecu is not responding to vag 12.12 cable

Just do what Vlaki says and you are good to go
