As far as I understand you might be eligible for extended updates anyway (like plus 6 months to what you have right now on K518iSE (paid or trial), but you'd need to check with them to make sure. I believe you this tool is having issue since 12 May 2020 update of sales feedback extra folder was installed why do they want after sales feedback when they are not responding to emails and whatsup anywhere, most VAG remote programming has stopped working and we don't know what else has stopped and they insist everything is working fine, they told me I am having hardware issue, if there was hardware issue it would have been impossible for me to programme cars.

I am not complaining on my own there are few on this tread have same issue as mine, look the issue is when programming old VAG remotes from 2004-2009 it just says time out, on new cars you can programme keys and remotes automatically works, it was all ok before the 12 May 2020 updates may be you have not update your lonsdor.

The thing with this tool, when an update happens you dont know what's been taken away, do a key today and in a months time same one wont work, and the menu is a disaster, but a an ok tool nevertheless

Fiat Delphi and Marelli works pretty solid for me... Vauxhall its strong on... PSA works pretty good... Tool is £500 most tools for fiat alone are £500 and need another tool to do the precode!!

Also RET killed the keyless entry on a Megane III the other day for me after a spare key... Tried programming with Lonsdor and keyless entry working again... saved my ass although other tools may have done the same.

Tool is not perfect but you can't complain for the money is what I am saying.

Also I dont bother doing VAG with it because I get the laptop out anyway for VCDS to do a scan before and after so just use VCDS and VVDI2.

No fake news.. either my tools dodgy or the newer version of RET software are rubbish.

Oh and FVDI has always worked better then RET for the models it covers even when my RET was working well.... so AVDI would be far better then RET... RET always fails to clear fault codes after programming and sometimes take a few attemps to program some keys... I'll prove the point and go and program keys on my van if you think I am full of sh*t.

Lonsdor!!! You guys are the biggest thieves. I bought this device mainly for Toyota Smart keys the latest Ford smart keys and a few of the older cars so I didn't need to use a token on MVP. I paid the full price when it just came out, and it was full of bugs not able to do some simple jobs. Now they have taken away all the options I paid for and is now asking $600 yearly subscription to do a ford that was free when I bought the device. Yesterday I decided to use the lonsdor to code a remote for an old 2005 Vauxhall Corsa C which I've done in the past but now they've taken that license away and now they want you to pay. Then I decided to try it on a 2008 Vauxhall Corsa D to read pin an code a key they've taken that option away too and wants you to pay for this tried to do an old Subaru and you guessed it that too has been taken away and you need to pay. Even the Vauxhall Antara I did one last year on the lonsdor now they want you to pay to code just the remote. How is this possible. I'm sure this is not legal in the EU. You can't pay for something we were told will have lifetime updates and then take away the basic usage we already paid for. You cannot change the terms and condition after we paid for a service. If lonsdor wants to charge they should charge for the new development they want to add. I already have Abrites to do VAG, Renault, MQB, Hyundai and the more complicated cars.
I am sure what this company have done is illegal in the EU. I'm sure if we have enough people we can take them to court to reinstate all the licenses we paid for. Absolutely ridiculous

You had a chance to buy sub for 360usd (and actually I still believe you can) which isn't that much.

Like you said, the tool had a lot of bugs at the beginning but later on it became reliable tool. Engineers work also costs too.

You'd better like tool full of bugs and not working functions for 1300usd which you paid or would you rather have much more stable tool with constant updates for 600usd / 360 year? Considering that much of it's functions are still free, even some new Fords and Fiats which generally are said to be free.

I don't care what they want to so. I have Fiat license on my avdi which is 100 times better than the lonsdor. I tried to read the pin code on a 2009 Fiat Scudo all keys lost with your precious lonsdor and guess what? It failed. Tried reading pin on a 2012 Citroen Berlingo all keys lost it failed. Tried it on a 2010 Citroen dispatch it failed. Fail fail fail. My AVDI does all these jobs in less than 5 minutes.
If you are from lonsdor when can I get my money back. My advice to anyone save your money and invest in something that is not going to take away your license to try and scam more money out of you and you know will work 💯 percent of the time.

you have not mentioned 1 fiat system it has failed on ?? it works well for fiat cars and newer fiat based vans.

One year ago I've tried one Duster with smart card like Kadjar, Megane 4...., I haven't even touched it, a few mounths ago , also tried Duster with blade , not a hope to connect to IMMO

I paid third year USD360.00 and most pay modules need more money.
I paid full subscription third year and I found out the Merchant chinacardiag pulled the plug and never they never subscribed just took money. When I first bought lonsdor they never mentioned subscription based device. I have nothing against pay subscription, I thought all functions under subscription will be ok. There are free and payable functions in lonsdor K518ISE and K518S key programming tool, the issue is what happen when they just take the money and do nothing, I paid $360.00 for third year subscription but the company chinacardiag tool the money and never updated, I am have now asked for refund and if I don't get the money refunded I am going to ask paypal for help.

Hi, I got my device one years update, about a mouth ago from mk3.com very good service it was activated within 24 hours of placing the order .

It was the first time i paid for Lonsdor update! $360 and for the jobs i use it for i am happy with it.

I have contacted few merchant I knew before, they all told me they will update my tool with all subscription fully activated, but I need to contact lonsdor first and see what they have to say why our tool was not activated by the merchant when lonsdor has given full authorities' to the chinacardiag for subscription and done nothing, I will eventually contact paypal when all else fails, mind you I like the part the merchant said (It is the factory engineers asks you to do get system log from K518 Lonsdor tool, they will help you to check it after you do this log).
When I press any modul after 2015 up it clearly notify (Most fuction clearly says this is a paid fuction please contact local dealer to purchase) Merchant never updated the subscription.....

I paid third year USD360.00 and most pay modules need more money.
I paid full subscription third year and I found out the Merchant chinacardiag pulled the plug and never they never subscribed just took money. When I first bought lonsdor they never mentioned subscription based device. I have nothing against pay subscription, I thought all functions under subscription will be ok. There are free and payable functions in lonsdor K518ISE and K518S key programming tool, the issue is what happen when they just take the money and do nothing, I paid $360.00 for third year subscription but the company chinacardiag tool the money and never updated, I am have now asked for refund and if I don't get the money refunded I am going to ask paypal for help.

2. Subscribed menus can be used free for 18 months.
3. Second Year Subscription, $600
4. Third Year Subscription, $300

I got mine in may of this year, and got the update, and I got confirmation from supplier and also lonsdor whatsapp group admins that il get it before I ordered, that's why I got it, mainly use for Asian cars, that's why I buy it, who knows what happens in a 12 months with Chinese manufacturing,

518ISE first had no subscription, when they changed to subscription then 518ISE ALWAYS had 12 months free subscription (think they gave 6 months to existing customers) and a cheaper yearly fee than 518S, but cost more to start with.
518S came with only 6 months until they recently changed it to 12 months due to covid. 518S cost more yearly fee but was cheaper to buy.

CAS3+ is not CA3+ ISTAP , first one need working key or ISN , other one need to be downgraded for read "data key" ...

tested mine & he failed one week ago on 2008 Serie 1 ISTAP protected ...

No any issues during programming procedure? I heard multiple times that on Skoda the coil is very weak and programming new keyless sometimes can become nightmare.

The third try was successful, detected the new key on coil, the first and second time the key was not detected
I think you can say the coil is weak (start/stop button)

Yes 500L key ( not 500 ) , programmed under 500L menu , cars use same BSI

& i add one RF key , i can't use AKL menu like you , i prefer go to same BSI car to have real process , i no wan lose 2 customer keys ( keys banned Fiat system ) .

Of course - if keys are there when you do the programming it will write them back. It bans only the keys which are not present at the time of programming and before it is completed.

this is certainly the case for abrites , once you recode the existing keys they do not get banned , however this is not the case with all programmers , for instance advanced diagnostics advise you program all keys twice with their equipment in case this happens.

Yes , I thing "AKL" button is "key program" , just need to switch ignition on with all key , but i never take risk to lose money just for testing this tool .

Essential is fast job & remote control work fine ( now i can reduce my price of Fiat & Alfa keys & use Made in China £8£ keys )

But for this car the tool have read HFM D-flash !!!! i retrieve file it in Lonsdor File , problem is than i never seen similar file format for 2014 , 2015 , & 2016+ in my HFM files , better is to never program HFM with this file read by lonsdor tool !

Need more test for Clio 4 / Captur , no sure that tool is 100% safe when using this method for Read PIN code , use it with caution . Tool read D-flash by OBD2 faster than VVDI Prog on table

Fortunately i have vvdi with me i Connect it and when i read immo data dash revival !!!! Add key and job done !!! Little fright of 10 mins. But it you have only lonsdor with you caution Big problem.

Force ignition on ? I dont know this option with vcds ? I try to clear fault and reset dash before vvdi but not possible because boot mode on.
