serial is for fw4.01 as i told you in other forums over and over again
you need to either buy the firmware from someone selling it fw8.xx or buy another carprog thats v8.21
nothing more can be done

the first 1 is the same 1 you have now version 9.31 = really version 4.01

I am also planning to buy CarProg online. Sorry for dumb questions:

If I buy declared "Carprog Full Perfect Online Version F.W V8.21 S.W V10.05 with All 21 Adapters" from Ebay, should I receive the online version?
How can I prevent to order FW4.01 CarProg? Noone is declaring that version on Ebay or Aliexpress.

As I understand from your posts, buying not FW8.21 is a big problem...

Before I purchase, Is the serial number printed on the part itself. I was sent a photo with this serial number stamped on the back: QC14A96D52-102 stamped on the unit itself. Is this the correct serial number? I want to know what I am buying before I purchase. If anyone can advise me if this is 4.01 or something else before I purchase would be greatful.
