Ok guys i received my digiprog3 today. I have a 2007 Chevy Tahoe. I have located my eeprom (95080) I believe. My question is which way does the red wire on the clip go? Up or Down? Also i use the hummer -2007 to program miles and hours correct?

Red wire is Pin 1. No, you would use Hummer H2 2007-
-2007 means up to 2007. lol

Red Wire On Pin 1 Pin 1 is usually a dot, also if you see a groove in eeprom then keep groove on left when viewing and pin one is bottom left, another option is to read chip text usually pin 1 is bottom left when reading chip text.
Also clean legs with swab and alcohol and buy a Pomona clip or 3 M clip I've heard the factory Digiwigi clips are junk.
Make sure to read and save before editing dump.
One other thing get some good tools 2007 Chevys can be done via OBD with good tools.

if your clip broke then did you solder wires in correct order- from pin 1

You need to make a ST47 cable if you want to solder to chips.

25th February, 2017, 06:39 AM
or cut the clip to read Dip eeproms, just use the wires and after job is done sorlder the clip back

I pretty much soldered the wires to the eeprom and tied them in with the wires on the plug just like they would normally go.

Top left has a little symbol then under symbol going down reads 9628 rright hand upper side reads 041703P No dots so guessing the symbol is pin 1

Look at the picture. It can be marked with a dot, a cutout on the chip on the left end, or when the writing is right side up or the taper on the edge at the bottom, Pin 1 is always the bottom left then pin numbering is....

Your wire up is wrong. Looking across the cable red (wire 1) goes to eeprom pin 1. wire 2 goes to eep 8, wire 3 to eep 2, wire 4 to eep 7, wire 5 to eep 3, wire 6 to eep 6, wire7 to eep 4, wire 8 to eep 5. Arthur.

Thanks man I just about gave up felt good to see the programmed miles show up especially from seeing odometer failure the first time. My next question is why did my digipro come wired like it did? I just ordered a new pomona clip hopefully a actual good one. Is it just wired like thay because we are the ones that have to change the pins around or was it a screw up

26th February, 2017, 06:33 AM
Cheap -_- crap that's why. lol Beware of knockoffs online, real Pomona clips aren't $5.00.
At least you got it done, next one be a lot easier.

I sure hope so I ordered it off amazon for $20 bucks. Thanks for telling the tool to get for these clusters. So starting where the red wire goes on 1357 (left ) 2468 (Right) asumming pin 1 starts at top left pins out to the side?
