Upgrading Cluster: Skoda Octavia Pre FL to FL

Hi,

I have Pre FL Octavia MY 2007 with 1.9 TDi (BXE) engine and DSG

My current cluster is 1Z0 920 842D, i am planning to upgrade it to FL cluster 1Z0 920 843S.

Will this be compatible with my DSG, Diesel car with KPH?

Also can i directly swap immobilizer chip from current cluster to new?

It's not as easy as you think.
Your old one has 36 pin connector, new one 32 pin connector (blue)
You will need an adapter from 36 to 32 pin or rewire your loom.
Immodata from your old dash needs to be transfered to the new one and you also will need transponders in the key.
You need professional tools for the job. let somebody with experience do it.

also you need to have ABS/ESP pump AA, AB .... or higer (p/n from controler read via VCDS , not from hydraulic)

Both will work without removing EPROM from cluster?

Does Paasat cluster 3AA 920 870D (SW 0607) support PLA2.0, Driver Fatigue detection and TPMS?

Update...

I have bought used 1Z0 920 843S.

Need help to code it.

Do i need to read 24C64 through EEPROM programmer or I can directly do coding through OBD port?

Hi

Update to my cluster swap project

I have VVDI2

Below are the steps followed by me


1. Remove 24C64 and save dump using programmer
2. Open VVDI --> select 4 GEN immobiliser --> select service mode
3. Open original dump file and save as service dump
4. write service dump to 24C64
5. solder 24C64 back
6. connect to car, Open VVDI --> select 4 GEN immobiliser --> Read Eprom (selected both login1 and login2 method)


But i am getting security login failed message
