Hi,
I wanted to know what cpu I have in ECU, so I removed ECU from the car and opened it. After taking some photos I put it back. After that engine is not starting.
Before removing and installing back I unpluged car battery. After that I connected car battery and tried to start the engine. There was error drive stabilisation failure and drivetrain malfunction. I disconnected battery and checked ECU connections. The bigger ECU plug was not properly pluged (not fully seated). I corrected this and again connected battery. The engine did not start. After that I diagnosed car with ISTA/D, which said DDE not responding.
Did anyone have experience with this devices?
As far I know I didn't mechanical/physically damaged ecu pcb. There is chace of static electricity. Is problem with not fully seated plug? I will buy bootmode reader to circumvent can bus to see if cpu is still alive.
If I buy used ecu as replacement, what steps should i take? Will donor ecu work with my car?
