change the settings in the dash board to your new provider.
search google for modem settings.
or i think you can unbrand the modem with e160 dash board but you would have to find driver after flashing.

these can be debranded but there is an issue with the driver.

I think once it is unlocked you can use any company, so in theory you could get hold of a o2 iphone pay & go sim and top it up once and have 3g net for a year.

how do i unlock it? i have done:

1. opened huawei modem code writer.
2. clicked select com port
3. clicked detect and sees a modem. accept it.
4. clicked unlock modem and it shows the imei no...etc.
5. and the program seemed hanged. i've waited for 1 hour still not asking for the code number.

pls help me. i have 4 hours to settle this..sorry for the noobie question.
