Maybe someone knows how to fix the Mazda 3 ecu eeprom


I have loaded another eprom, managed to finish and the car has ignited but it has versions of the version


and I would have to repair the original file

I have a similar issue with a Mazda 3, I have replaced the engine ECU with a secondhand one
I have coded it to the vehicle and it runs. But I have a DTC of P1603.
If I post both ecu and dash dumps here could someone have a look for me?

Thanks for your offer to help, The vehicle came to me as a non start, ECU dead (no comms) supplied a second ECU and aligned the PATS system.

Vehicle starts but has the MIL on and is in limp home mode. P1603-68 present.

I can not read the 95160 eprom in the old ECU (I think that is half the problem with the old unit), I can get a read from the replacement unit.

I have opened up the dash panel looking for the 9s12 MCU that everybody speaks of but my dash is different, could you have a look at the photos below and give me a pointer as to what chip you need a read of.

I have looked on Engima and it says my dash will have a 93C56 eprom which it does have, is that the correct one you need a dump of ?

in which ecu this dump works in a new or old one
what ecu numbers, is this the original vin car

The ECU dump is from the replacement engine ECU, the dash dump is from the vehicle

The Vin No of the vehicle is; JMZBK143201203734

The old and new ECU part No are the same; 3M61-12A650-AD 6APD 0281 011 534

I dont understand the "meter type 9Txxx" the engine code is Y6 if that helps?

Do you mean the ECU label ? or something else.

Could it be the EPROM its self? is it worth changing it for another one (of the same type)

Would it work if we used matched data on both dash and engine ECU from a known good runner? or is there more to it than that?

Hi! I have the same problem with Mazda 3 1.6 Diesel EDC16C3-9.18 hw 0281011534 sw 1037387344 . The original file of the ECU is corrupted, there is no communication from the obd port. To recover the communication I used full bdm from EDC16C3-9.18 hw 0281011534 sw 1037372722, because I don't find the same file. I need help for the synchronization of the ECU and Dash. Hi, can me pls anyone help. The ignition signal on the instrument cluster flashes quickly after the ignition is switched on.No Starter. Pcm P1602-fault .Instrument unit U2510-Fault code!!!
Can someone help me with what the solution might be?

Hello,

Do you have any diagram (picture or something) for the wiring between the PCM and instrument cluster? What should i measure there?
The car was shut down , and the next day it wouldn't start, the key light flashes fast. We have two original keys for the car, both is in the IC stored.
The battery is in not a really good condition, could that cause the problem? Or maybe there is no syncronization between the PCM and the instrument cluster?
The ECU 's flash and eeprom dump is read if needed. Thanks!
