Mercedes 7g connection on bench with AVDI

Hi

im trying to connect to 7G on bench with avdi
its from a 2013 E class auto gearbox

i have the pinouts as per avdi instructions
but cant for the life of me get a reading in DAS manager under transmission unit

can any help a guy out here

i can hear a little buzz from the 7G when i apply power

any help appreciated

use beetwen can h and low120ohm resistor and connect to obd plug star diag

I HAVE IT CONNECTED UP ON BENCH WITH 120OHMS INSTALLED
WHEN I TRY SCAN it says no comms
as i expected as its trying to talk to CGW etc

then asks me for vin

i cant talk to the unit on its own

how pls

put 17 number for vin then F2

Is it VGS4 or 3 ? also have you tried to communicate with it in standard mode ?

yince you said you hear it buzzing you have connected it with hydraulic blok/magnet solenoids connected ?

if yes, you need to put the shift level to P gear so that the magnetic valves are using much less power, or connect it with a more powerfull power supply..

or simply disconecct the tcu from the hydraulic plate.

i make those everyday on bench with avdi and everything is working perfect.. Das manager, and regular diagnostic. btw you dont need the 120ohm resistor on avdi.. only on vediamo/das

Hello,
I can connect VGS4 NAG with AVDI (original) only with CAN/UDS diag mode, CAN connection could not connect.
I cannot connect VGS4-NAG2 for virgin with AVDI.
I think this plate is for FBS4 System, and AVDI work up to FBS2 and FBS3 System (Till 2015, 2016 and up is FBS4).

I also provided MN027 (FBS4 manager) from AVDI but Could only renew up to VGS3 NAG2 via it.
Does anybody know whether at the moment there is any tool on earth to renew VGS4 NAG2 and also FBS4 ISM?

Avdi do it Virgin but the problem after virgin the unit you cannot adapt it to other car at the moment avdi don't have this solution and if you try with star then star don't want to adapt it because it recognize it as other car unit so at the moment to virgin it with Avdi no use

Thank you. but I Do not want to use the TCU for another car. the unit is the original unit of the car and I need to renew it.
When AVDI support Group checked everything, they finally said they do not support my TCU or other units.
What I need to know is whether there is any other company or tool to renew it.
If you have any information, please help me.
