Hi,
need advice how to replace EZS 2E0905865AD->2E0905843D except reprogramming CPU.

521172

New EZS 2E0905843D comes from dealer and blank.

521170

The easiest way reprogram CPU but would like to do it through diag.

Need advice, what pin code it comes from dealer when it's blank? And what correct procedure to adapt?

The original pin code it is not taken, I tried either 00000 but no luck.

I'm adapting it with VCDS.

Any help appreciated.

You would need data.
Pin vin cs mac and powerclass, config.

Most of these, you could get from reading the ecu.
And you have to match the elv.

Never had to do one of these, so like to here how it is done.

The mb tool, it lets you read it by obd?
Can you safe the eeprom data?

Do you have a old learned key?
Or a dealer key?

Dear Friend
Please read the EZS (with upa or xprog) and the ecu of the engine (Ktag)
Publish these files in the forum and I will help you synchronize the ecu with the EZS.

I have pin, cs, mac from ECU.
Also I have working old EZS with old key and the car is running OK with old EZS.

VVDI MB can read by OBD but vvdi2 not taking the dump so need in circuit programming.

My bad read. The connection W906 Crafter is the same as VVDI prog.
But the chip is different 1L15Y and when I try to write new EZS I got this:

So my virgin data was lost and EZS became dead.

The good news is that I found the way how simply Read/Write this EZS with VVDI Prog.

The connection is the same as W906.

521399

But the chip must be chosen as MC9S12 Secured. Then it can read/write the correct data with no issues.

521401

I just clone EZS Old->New and car start with new EZS with no issues and no DTS.

The bottom line is that I did not adapt new EZS through diag what is bad but hopefully next time. :)

Hope this information would help someone.

I just let Samic know about the issue, so hope they can add immo for Crafter with 1L15Y to VVDI prog.

Hello Andycz,

Yes, they could list this, in the vvdi prog.
The part number gave it away, starting with A 906 xxx xxx.

I assumed that you knew this all along, and were exploring different ways, to read and adapt these!

Anyway, if you still need some cs or pin, just post!

HI there,

We recently replaced our ecu with another module.
Car: VW Crafter
Part number of ecu: 03l 906 012 B/ 0281017659
EDC17C54
Chipset:TC1797

EZS LT3 290 428 60
9st12xdt384
1L15y

We need synchronization with our ecu and ezs.

Thanks in advance
