RE: the screen issue. Got my new screen today and fitted it and it's back up and running. (got my first replacement a few weeks ago but someone must had opened the bubble wrap with a stanley knife somewhere in transit as one of the cables was sheared off... I'm 99% sure it wasn't me...

I have changed a lcd+touch+the main pcb before, its quite easy taking them apart and change. however one word of advice to all, do not use a charger more than 6Volts, and never connect to a 6V car charger, yesterday, I connected my x300 with the new pcb to a 1.5 Amp 12V to multi voltage select car charger, Centre pin + and 4.5 volt was selected, but it wouldn't charge, then I connected to my home charger, guess what, the xdp300 doesn't show charge and the green light stays on all the time, even when device is turned off, after a while I checked the battery level, and luckily it had taken some charge, unfortunately this device has zero protection against power input, you have been warned.

If it's a USA market non smart key then there is no transponder

it's only the remote

did you try to start the car with a metal blade after turning the key in the door lock to make sure the alarm is not active?

If you set off the alarm opening the door the car won't start until you put key in door lock and turn back and forth turning off alarm

Most if not all USA Kia and Hyundai are non transponder.......

this one simply has done cars that the others have not

and it has also failed and the others have succeeded

it goes both ways man

ive seen the same exact year make and model fail with the same tool (hint: a problem with the car)

ive seen the same tool(but owned by someone else) fail on the exact same car(like literally it was the same car) where it worked earlier (hint: cable problem(it was mine btw))

thats why i always have t300 skp900 ck200 x300DP ikey820 MVPpro a laptop with multiple OEM softwares plus obdII diagnostic scanners and tons of other shit

because sometimes its not the tool

its the car or cable or battery or wiring or................................................ .....ad infinitum

The video on YTube shows that i need to erase first.
I dont have a pin code, so i will choose without pin.
Then insert year and month, and program keys.

The erasing first, might work. The adding keys may not!
So could someone share that this really works!

I ordered a new smart key, and still i try to figure out if these smart keys are reusable.

Problem I have us that the touchscreen is locked so I can't access Tablet to remove PWs, account details and other personal info.

Check if there is a partnumber on the display.
If you fail, you could still send it in.

Obdstar pad2 fails on mitsubishi outlander 2011 smart key spare programming. failed me three times till now. I tried all the generic pin codes and couldnt get past security access.
No damage to the car though...programmed the key with another tool just fine
It also failed on Lancer 2008 smart key.

It suceeded on Outlander 2014 smart key with start push button.

Obdstar pad2 fails on mitsubishi outlander 2011 smart key spare programming. failed me three times till now. I tried all the generic pin codes and couldnt get past security access.
No damage to the car though...programmed the key with another tool just fine
It also failed on Lancer 2008 smart key.

It suceeded on Outlander 2014 smart key with start push button.

anychance this get fixed?

The reason may as below: Didn't ignition on, OBD didn't connect well with the car, entered the wrong menu,

Failed: Fiesta 2014, regular 80bit key.
Needed to ad spare.
Tried both Europe and Asian in the menu.

Looke like it whas working, took about 4 minutes, then pin came up.
After that, programming unsucceful.

every end of month they anounce new update for obdstar tool
Programming keys for old psa ok but for psa after 2015 it does not work even with dealer pincode ,tested on several cars
last month they announce update for differents car psa include ( here are capture screen )
but when i try to update immo i can see that last update immo party is 2018 11 07 so why i'm not concerned by update they annonced
I buy the 1st x100 fews years ago et one week later X100 pro and mien could not be updated ; i buy f108 and one month later the replaced it by F108+ and never worked .

I recently bought a obdstar X300m second hand. The problem is that it doesn’t go any further than the starting screen. It is a loop and doesn’t charge the software.

I am not able to create a new account due to I have no access to the serial number and password. Does anyone know how to obtain the card files?

Apparently I could do it with the obdstar display programme but the link is down.

very easy to ask customer.... not the last software.... can not help.

you can check log files even with precedent software. but you prefer ask customer can not help because you dont update... so easy

If i have multifunction Obdstar 300 pro 3 Full configuration and there is example Peugeot/citroen/ds immo programming, read pin. And some another..

So in tool Obdstar H108 tool just for psa immo tool just have for PSA functions so obdstar 300 pro3 can do it exacly the same what H108? Or can be worse?.. in theory think the same but how this is looks in practice h108 is typical just for PSA... 300 PRO3 is multifunctional.

x300 proUnfortunately not mate, there have been absolutely no updates for immobiliser applications in 2019 for the OBDStar X-300Pro.

There's been 3 mileage (ODO) updates for Peugeot, Suzuki and Toyota this year.

You can still buy the X-300Pro and you can still pay for the subscription but you will not actually get any more updates with it. All the main updates are now online only, if your tool cannot update by WiFi you're out of luck.
The OBDStar engineers can still add updates and bug fixes to the tools to download through the PC updater but they have no incentive to do it anymore.
