nissan qashqai fault codes

Hi mates,
I have 2 fault codes on 2016 nissan qashqai and i could not find out what is the problem,
1.on ecu fault code U0111 lost communication with battery energy from LIN
2.on abs fault code C1130 engine signal 1
These codes appears 2 or 3 seconds after starting the engine.(battery and esp lamp goes on)
Any idea how to solve this issue is much appreciated.

replace alternator lin signal from alternator is your issue

Hi, did you solve this issue.

I have exact same problem with my Qashqai 1.6dci diesel. Have already repalced Battery and Alternator but keep getting same DTC. Anti slip light, engine check light, and battery light on. S/S, forward emergency braking not working.

Car otherwise runs fine.

Any guidance will be hugely appreciated.

I have Nissan Qashqai 1.2DIGT 2016, exactly same problem


after 2-3second engine run -> dtc to ecu U0111-08 communication error
also dtc in chassis control module and abs.
charging light and esp comes on.

- battery charge is ok when engine running > 14V
- measured alternator LIN wire from ecu, there comes 12V to alternator, wire seems to be ok
but no LIN communication in alternator while running
- replaced alternator , no difference
- measured LIN bus from dc-dc converter (behind glove box), in dc-dc converter there is LIN communication active while running.

do you have good ideas what to test? / try?

Fixed:


if you will have this U0111 / chassis control system error -fault after engine replaced ...
-> check the connector/connection of the alternator (LIN-bus) according to the connection diagram and you will probably find the solution :)

(the plug of the engine oil pressure sensor and the plug of the alternator can be mixed up)
